British Parliament summons Elon Musk to explain himself about free speech

It's a good thing we kicked the Brits out back in the Revolutionary War. As bad as the USA has become, its citizens are light-years freer than Brits, or even Canadians, now. Elon, an American citizen and the U.S.'s most famous "African-American", ought to tell the Brits to go get as stuffed as what's left of their royal family. Of course, they'd just try to bankrupt him. (But his colony ideas for Mars are beginning to look quite inviting, are they not?)

This is absolute George Orwell 1984 stuff, summoning Elon Musk to the Parliament to face an inquistion about his free speech restoration plans for Twitter. (Of course, Parliament here is acting in part as a proxy for the Biden Regime.) It's amazing they're so open and in-your-face about it. I think the 2020 election theft stands so screamingly transparent now, as are the deadly harms caused by the Covid "vaccines", that they're getting absolutely desperate to impose total censorship.

Free speech, i.e. open political, social, medical and religious speech as opposed to pornography or shouting "Fire!" in a crowded theater, remain, ever and always, and absolute requirement for ANY form of self- or representative-government. It stands as an ABSOLUTE requirement for thinking, for rational behavior. "Sheeple" do not need it, HUMAN BEINGS do. Thus the bad guys attack it. Even Supreme Court justices must now flee into witness protection program-level hiding. My friends, this is the last summer of our (relative) freedoms. Watch how the American November election doesn't occur. For if it occurs and remains halfway honest, the Democrat Party will be destroyed and the RINOs weakened. But it may be too late. All this has been planned for decades.

In comparison to slavery, I'd welcome a nuclear war.

The Biden Administration’s Disinformation Governance Board head, Nina Jankowisz, previously called upon Great Britain to impose state censorship rules. That call has grown since Musk’s purchase. Until now, a unified front of corporate censors was able to maintain an extensive system of censorship with the encouragement of politicians and pundits, including Joe Biden and Democratic members.

The head of the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee in the House of Commons, Conservative MP Julian Knight has assured her countrymen that they can stay calm and censor on. She issued a letter for Musk to appear before the committee to answer for his terrifying suggestion of free speech:

“At a time when social media companies face the prospect of tighter regulations around the world, we’re keen to learn more about how Mr Musk will balance his clear commitment to free speech with new obligations to protect Twitter’s users from online harms.”

Like the EU’s censorship plans under the Digital Services Act, the proposed Online Safety Bill would introduce state censorship through the purview of Ofcom (The Office of Communications), the broadcasting regulator in Britain. It would allow the company to fine firms up to ten percentof their global revenue should they violate ill-defined “harm” standards.

If passed, Clinton and others hope that the Europeans can replace corporate censorship with good old-fashioned state censorship. This includes confiscatory fines for anything deemed “grossly offensive.“  The bill would allow countries like Great Britain to impose censorship on the rest of the world.

The decline of free speech in the United Kingdom has long been a concern for free speech advocates  (here and here and here and here and here and here and here and here). Once you start as a government to criminalize speech, you end up on a slippery slope of censorship. What constitutes hate speech or “malicious communications” remains a highly subjective matter and we have seen a steady expansion of prohibited terms and words and gestures. Even having “toxic ideologies” is now a crime.

Great Britain would now make censorship one of its greatest exports. To do so, they first have to stomp out advocates for free speech like Musk by threatening to bankrupt his company if it tries to restore free speech to the Internet.

Why did Elon Musk buy Twitter, and will he restore free speech to it?

Massive speculation exists on whether Elon Musk is both sincere and capable of restoring freedom of speech to Twitter. We'll have to see. Doing so would rob the U.S. Government "Deep State" of a titanic portion of its propaganda power. (The world Deep State, as well.) Twitter is actually probably run from U.S. Government servers and is a "Deep State" operation as its server requirements are planetary-scale huge and it can't possibly make money for profit, as does FB, etc. Twitter, FB itself, and so on, were probably set up by the U.S. Intell people to begin with! (If that idea is true, Elon might quickly be compromised, or disappear.)

So, what now? Tucker Carlson talks to Glenn Greenwald about it here. Greenwald, an old-fashioned Leftist-Liberal, lays the options out pretty well, so it is worth listening a couple of minutes to. 

There's a theory, amici, that the moment, the need, the crisis, creates the man. That's where we got Caesar, Constantine, Pope Leo the Great, Pope Gregory the Great, Otto the Great, William Wallace, St. Joan of Arc, and later George Washington, Napoleon, Lincoln, and so on. The idea is that a perilous situation somehow conjures up the guys to fight for its good resolution. If true, this is metaphysical, and of course spiritual, but I think it is often true, but then, those who responded and failed might not be remembered at all.

As we sink – apparently hopelessly drown – in the putrid flood of The Great Reset/Communism Revivus/One-World tyranny that has nearly engulfed us, the need for freedom may have called out across the world. It's a crisis obviously demanding a hero, and Musk might be the one man who heard it and who could also do something about it. (The Church should be doing something about it, but it is not, thanks to the Modernist occupant of the See of Peter.) That has to be an exhilarating feeling. 

We'll see. Honestly, we need to pray Musk is the right man for this and does the right thing, though they will definitely try to destroy him if he does, because we've never been so close to surrendering to Satan and his crumple-brained monkeys (Schwab, Soros, Gates, the occupants of the U.S. Deep State, not to mention Bergoglio and The Homosexualist Anti-Church, etc.). 

Now, we need a Gregory the Great Revivus Restorer Ecclesiam for the Church.

"The only way the Left can survive is to shut down dissent ..."

Interesting...the U.S. has a lot more varied and "freer" speech than Europe does – though if there really is a "nationalistic" revolution in the up-coming European Parliament vote, that might begin to change, one hopes. However, although the U.S. has a lot more media outlets for Conservative or Counter-Globalist opinion, taken all together, these are relatively small compared to the monolithic U.S. Mainstream Media. And it is incredible how constantly under assault what free speech the U.S. is.

For example: Tucker Carlson, the Fox News commentator, is currently under attack after a George Soros-funded group uncovered that Carlson made off-color jokes in the past. This article goes into the details of what he said (highlights are me own):

In his opening monologue Monday night, the Fox News host questioned the sincerity of the outraged misfits criticizing him.

"Maybe their moral puffery is a costume," Carlson speculated. "Maybe the whole conversation is an absurd joke. Maybe we're falling for it."

"You sometimes hear modern progressives described as 'new Puritans,'" Carlson continued. "That's a slur on colonial Americans. Whatever their flaws, the Puritans cared about the fate of the human soul and the moral regeneration of their society. Those are not topics that interest progressives. They're too busy pushing late-term abortion and cross-dressing on fifth graders. These are the people who write our movies and our sitcoms. They're not shocked by naughty words. They just pretend to be when it's useful."

Carlson explained what he thinks the left is really up to.

"The left's main goal – in case you haven't noticed – is controlling what you think. In order to do that, they have to control the information that you receive. Google and Facebook and Twitter are fully on board with that. They're happy to ban unapproved thoughts and they don't apologize for it," he pointed out.

"The only way the Left can survive is to shut down dissent and eliminating individuals who might speak up with a different idea." Note that Bruce has a number of books on the Left's thought police and so on.
