Saddest column I've read on the Church, along with other Corvinian observations...

Amici,

Saddest column I've read on the Church, and that's saying a lot.... The estimable Anthony Esolen has a column that every Catholic ought to read. It's title is The Loss of the Heart of a Human Community.

I could describe it, but it is too depressing. Yet this vignette at Rorate Caeli gives a sense of it:
In a few years, a heritage of many centuries was thrown down; thousand-year-old habits were forgotten, cursed, castigated, and condemned. Mrs. Michu [*the average homemaker], who had not read the Acts of the Council and had no intention of devoting ten seconds to it, observed with astonishment, in her parish:

The abolition of the choir, that was all well and good but…
The elimination of Latin; well, she didn’t understand anything of it, but the objective was for God to understand.
The appearance of a table in front of the altar—it was her neighbor who had provided it!
The celebration of the Mass facing the people, which made the celebrant turn his back to the tabernacle, which seemed incongruous to Mrs. Michu, but not to the celebrant.
The distribution of Communion in the hand; Mrs. Michu had seen children put the host in their pocket.
The upheaval of the calendar and the suppression of the patron saint of the parish. She learned that even St. Philomena, the favorite saint of the Curé d’Ars, had disappeared in the turmoil.
 The destruction of confessionals.
 The prohibition of kneeling.
The suppression of Corpus Christi processions.
The abandonment of the recitation of the Rosary.
And so on and so forth… Mrs. Michu did as another neighbor did; she decided not to go to church again, except for weddings and funerals. Her religion had been changed.

This vignette gets the idea across, alright.
The Church is in absolute freefall. From the putridly wretched Canadian bishop Esolen references in his essay, to the Evil Ogre "pope" Bergoglio's appointment of human dregs, such as now a pro-abortion atheist, to the Pontifical Academy on Life, the Church is just a quivering husk of anything it once was. Bergoglio even appointed a gay friendly (code for gay?) bishop to lead culture and education in the Curia.

They need a good beating. Put in the stocks and cudgeled in an effort to save their souls by getting through to them. "Spare the rod and spoil the child." (Proverbs 13:24; 23:13-14) But no one will put them into stocks; until, that is, Satan gets around to it himself.

I suspect there's a revolution coming, though. Old Cardinal Mueller set off a earthquake with his interview with Raymond Arroyo the other day. Of course, the mainstream Catholic press ignored it. Mueller talked about Bergoglio and his obscene "Synod" being actually a hostile takeover of the Church. It is.

And now Bishop Athanasius Schneider has instituted a Crusader Cross. Dom Alcuin Reid has broken his monastery away from the local bishop. All are examples of the road to take, and suggest where that road will lead.

Something is up, that's for sure. The vast majority of bishops will play ostrich, and take what comes up the derriere. Most remaining Catholics – I mean the huge number of those outside of Trad circles or those few, very orthodox Charismatic groups – just won't "get it". They're clueless now. Most will remain that way. But it will happen. You can sense the sea change. The black-mantled ships are sailing upriver from Pelargir. How it will blossom and play out, I know not. But I pray I live long enough to see it.

N.B. Vatican II wrecked my Catholic life and nearly threw me back on "The Old Ones", but not quite (obviously). However, it is fascinating to read the original documents planned for Vatican II, which you can access via this enthralling article at Ann Barnhardt's.
Some examples you can access:
Draft of a Dogmatic Constitution on the Sources of Revelation,

Draft of a Dogmatic Constitution [on] Defending Intact the Deposit of Faith,

Draft of a Dogmatic Constitution on the Church,

Draft of a Dogmatic Constitution on the Christian Moral Order,

Draft of a Dogmatic Constitution on Chastity, Marriage, the Family, and Virginity,

Draft of a Dogmatic Constitution on the Blessed Virgin Mary Mother of God and Mother of Men

But Roncalli didn't defend these; he folded like mushy spaghetti. And he made Montini a cardinal.

I renounce, denounce, and repudiate Bergoglio as pope – because...

...Because it is obvious he's out to destroy the Catholic Church.

Yes, that's right. It is obvious, especially after this doleful trip to Canada wherein Bergogio engaged in a pagan seance, opening his stupid self – and the prelates there with him – to demonic possession! It's insane. INSANE. And so I'm taking off the gloves. No more Mr. Nice Préachán. (And anyway, after 60 years of "turning the other cheek" to these people, enough is enough.)

Attack on the TLM intensifies
As we approach the establishment of One World Religion with the opening of the Abrahamic Covenant House in Abu Dhabi, attacks on the TLM intensify. And now the anti-pope Bergoglio is directly attacking the TLM, trying to close them wherever they are, using Cupich in Chicago,  Gregory of Washington D.C., and now the bishop of Arlington, Virginia, Michael F. Burbidge, to do so. (This tactic is being repeated all over Europe as well as North America or anywhere on the planet.) Of course Bergoglio's attack on the Traditional Latin Mass is a direct attack on Holy Church. Why?
  1. Because a Church or any religion "is how it worships".
  2. The traditional Latin saying for this is Lex orandi, Lex credende. "As you pray, so you believe".
  3. Its the style, form of worship that creates a religion's paradigm.
  4. Making Muslims worship like Mormons or Hindus like Baptists is just as insane as making Catholics worship like Methodists. (I grew up with Methodists, and the Novus Ordo is often exactly that style of worship.)
  5. The leaders of the Catholic Church have been launched on one huge "psy-ops" for over a half-century now, a cognitive-dissonance psy-op. The results are obvious.
More and more "mainstream" Catholics are cottoning on to the truth that is Lex orandi, Lex credende; one's worship forms one's belief. As the soul is the form of the body, so the liturgy forms the Church. When the soul departs at death, the body putrefies. We have all of us, Catholic, Protestant, Jew, Muslim, Hindu, have see the Catholic Church literally decompose over the past half century. Benedict tried to reverse it with his Summorum Pontificum. and was overthrown. His 'installed' replacement, Bergoglio, has wielded his axe against S.P.

This is inherently cruel. Bergoglio's cruelty is not remotely Christian. It is not honorable pagan. We KNEW Bergoglio was bad news when he crucified the Franciscans Friars of the Immaculate, which various "Church Lady" busybodies, true imps, "accused of focusing only on the Extraordinary Form", so the bureaucracy under Benedict in 2012 launched a visitation (a formal investigation) and Bergoglio, installed March 13, 2013, in 2013 smacked them down. Hard.

What about the current TLM smack down?
Consider this sorrowful lament – and damning indictment – of both the remorseless cruelty of Bergoglio an the screaming stupidity of Bergoglio and his henchmen. The author describes the devastation wreaked on a southern Maryland TLM parish:
"Catholics who don’t hew to the official program of mind control which views 2,000 years through the exclusive lens of one pastoral council, which occurred over a period of a few years in the 1960’s, must be monitored closely and accompanied into the true Church as envisioned by prelates promoting LGBTQ+, transgender ideology and Communion for adulterers, just for starters." (We should all memorize this!)

The author of this excellent article, Father Kevin M Cusick, notes that the parish simply cannot afford to lose the TLM: only 20 to 30 Novus Ordo parishioners show up on a Sunday, and the parish just spent a bunch of money on restoring the Church for the TLM, as well. Just a mess. People are, to use that poignant Irish phrase, "gob-smacked". In this one area, three-hundred TLM parishioners from three parishes will be herded into a mission church with room for only half that number (and apparently with little or no parking). Father Cusick likens the parishioners to being prisoners of war, herded into official camps, or to 19th century American Indians forced onto the reservation.

With all this, we can truly say, Damn you, Beregoglio, and the horse you rode in on.

Then in this article, well-known and widely respected mainstream "Trad" Dr. Peter Kwasniewski writes another of his very learned and wise articles on how the Church is in such a free-fall catastrophe, and at least we can toss the "forced optimism" that has characterized Catholic prelates and commentators for 60 years. Prelates and theologians and priests galore smiled their Joker-smiles and repeated ad nauseam how much better things were getting. Liars. The Vatican II reforms, at least as implemented by those "in the spirit of Vatican II" are an unmitigated disaster. We don't have to pretend any longer. Also, Professor Kwasniewski "goes for broke" and clearly says the Novus Ordo has no future, that the TLM will be fully restored:
I will regretfully but more truthfully stick with the language of crisis. We will never find a solution to this churchwide crisis until we reclaim our Roman Catholic birthright, our innermost identity through the celebration of our traditional sacred liturgy. When the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Divine Office, and the sacramental rites of the Church are once again offered to God in a manner truly in continuity with tradition, then, and only then, will come that “Second Spring” about which postconciliar Popes have spoken with such premature confidence; only then will a new age of evangelization begin in earnest, with the Mass of the Ages as its pulsing heart.
And:
In short, if the Catholic Faith survives in any given diocese of the West, it will survive either by embracing the Tradition of the Church, or by dwelling beneath the shadow of the wings of that Tradition. Liberal territories are drying up; the moderate or eclectic approach has shown itself weak and spineless, incapable of responding effectively to the aggressive and even demonic secularism of our time.

The Canadian Trip

This article at LifeSiteNews is an excellent source what what happened in Canada, while this article details some of the shocking things Bergoglio is saying about the TLM. He clearly has no clue about what attracts people to the TLM and thus you get all his commentary (and his supporters ominous wording) about how Trad Catholics need to be "re-educated". Sounds like Communist re-education camps, doesn't it? Many of his people are saying the TLM will only be allowed as a half-way house to full-scale re-education.

The Irony of it all
Ironically, if Bergoglio's goal is to destroy Traditional Catholicism, he'll only succeed in destroying Pope Paul's creation, the inherently "disgraced" Church John Paul II kept going for 30 years. (Somewhere in these articles, one of the insightful authors wrote of the Novus Ordo that the only thing that distinguished it was the collapse of Mass attendance it caused!) Whereas another John Paul II-type pope would have killed us with a thousand cuts, Bergoglio is the axe wielder. God allows all this because the Lord wants His bishops on Earth, what used to be called the Church Militant, to show themselves to themselves (and everyone else) to be gutless cowards, knaves, and "disgraced" fence-sitters. It's a divine effort to get them to "wake up" and "repent" before they die. And as Bishop Athanasius Schneider says, the restoration of the Latin Mass is the work of the Holy Ghost and cannot be stopped. They need to get on board, or drown.

Destroyer of Church Government
Before I finish, let me take a moment to explain just how bad it is if one pope undoes, formally declares null and void, what a previous pope promulgated. Take birth control for an example. The Church has always damned artificial birth control and counseled abstinence, etc., instead. Love it or hate it (and if you hate it, you don't understand the teaching), that's the Church's rule. But if Bergoglio refutes that and supersedes it with a contrary law, then he's murdered the Papacy. Sound crazy? It's not. Why? Because the Church operates on Stare Decisis. It's governing system stands or falls on Stare Decisis.
  • A pope is chief legislator and chief jurist and chief exec of the Church: he has carte blanc power – but only to defend the deposit of Faith.
  • He's like Aladdin's genie, unlimited power but confined to a lamp – he has a very restricted use of his power.
  • Unlike the president of the Mormon Church or a willful Protestant, like Luther, a pope cannot break precedent.
  • As St. Paul wrote in 2 Thessalonians 2:15 "… 14 To this He called you through our gospel, so that you may share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 Therefore, brothers, stand firm and cling to the traditions we taught you, whether by speech or by letter."
  • A pope is as bound to that as is any lay Catholic or parish priest.
Luther broke the Tradition, coming up with a novel revelation about Romans 3 while sitting on a toilet; in contrast, a Mormon president can make it by saying he has had a prophesy to reveal, such as the decision to repudiate "plurality of wives" that Mormon president Wilford Woodruff made in 1890 (after a business trip to San Francisco). No pope can do that. If a pope were to start overturning precedent, he has dynamited the Church's government. He's cut its throat.
  • Bergoglio has already done this on a number of levels, such as with capital punishment, a Church teaching since St. Paul himself. See Romans 13:4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. John Paul II tried to nibble away at that, and Bergoglio has broken it, changing the Catechism (which no one reads anyway). His next step would be to excommunicate Catholics who still hold the traditional teaching.
  • Because Bergoglio has set this new precedent, the next pope can overturn everything Bergoglio did, without even having to declare him an antipope. Or a pope could overturn any basic dogma. Recreate the religion in his own image. This what Bergoglio has done, and the world's bishops let him get away with it.
Bergoglio is also clearly relaxing (previous to truly changing) Church teaching on homosexuals and their behavior, (Many Progressive bishops, esp in Germany, have already done so! See this LifeSiteNews article for details.) But regarding the Traditional Latin Mass, Bergoglio, with Traditiones Custodes and its later supposed Dubia, and Archbishop (and Progressive flunky and former ice-skater) Arthur Roche's anti-Trad rulings, Bergoglio the Accursed is clearly moving toward an outright suppression of the TLM. Many commentators expect this to come in 2023. As noted above, he's allowing it a limited existence now in order to "re-educate" us.

Again, taking off the gloves, not trying to mince words and not trying to be "nice" about it, the New Mass has been an act of cognitive dissonance. It has never been accepted by everyone in the Church, beset as it has been from the beginning by controversy, bringing with it rampant abuses, scandal, sacrilege and loss of faith. (Did you see the news from Italy of the priest who celebrated Mass in the surf, on a floating altar?) As noted above, the only constant by which the Novus Ordo can be measured is a continuing decline in attendance.

So, my friends, all things Catholic are in turmoil. But secluded havens exist, such as Dom Alcuin Reid's haven in the South of France, the Monastère Saint-Benoît. And there's Silverstream Priory in Ireland. About them, too, "allegations were made" but investigation by both Irish police (The Garda) and Church authorities found "no cause of action". (It just never lets up, does it?) And of course Clear Creek Abbey in Hulbert, Oklahoma. And everywhere, too, we'll be seeing the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offered in the proper way despite the screechings of the Progressives. (Can't someone tell them the Age of Aquarius has passed?) With God's blessing, we'll have a myriad of other such havens of the True Faith. So, keep praying!

We need to replace Bergoglio with Viganò this Christmas...

 Amici,

Jorge Mario Bergoglio's birthday, December 17, (born 1936) is almost upon us, so, here's a reflection.

As Satan gets himself enthroned at the UN Visitor's Plaza (at the UN, he's more of a resident that a visitor!) and the Democrats try to get us in a war with Russia over the Ukraine...
  • N.B. In February 2014, the Obama administration fomented a coup d'état in the Ukraine and re-started the Cold War. At the moment, it looks like the Deep State is fomenting more trouble in the same area, namely, a war with Russia. Just peachy.
... and as Big Pharma and its bootlickers in North America, Australasia, and Europe refuse Ivermectin to treat Covid (see this great article by Jack Cashill on Robert F. Kennedy Jr's new book The Real Anthony Fauci, and thus needlessly perpetuate this now nearly incoherent Covid drivel, as all this Deep State sludge flows slowly on like molten lava, consuming everything in its path, the only real power in the world that could thwart this dismal Western Civilization death denouement is the Catholic Church.

Unfortunately for Western Civilization, the Church remains under the heel of that Modernist anti-pope puppet, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, and his merry gay cadre of perverts who join in or encourage the moral and cultural rot, and seem only to show energy in doing their very best to destroy the Traditional Latin Mass. As has been manifestly evident since The Ogre's installment into his current usurped office, the only people the Argentine Destructor doesn't like are faithful conservative Catholics – and especially all the Traditional Catholics. Traditionis Custodes (correctly translated as "Jailers of Tradition") is all the evidence you need of that; but as it is, it's merely icing on the cake of Bergoglian loathing.

Yet we have Archbishop Viganò speaking out clearly, like the Church should, on all this madness, generally called "The Great Reset'. We have Bishop Athanasius Schneider, as well. Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas, is an American – one of the few – who is worthy of the ecclesiastical office he holds. And when I say, "one of the few", I mean that most of the bishops would correctly toe the orthodox Catholic line were we to have an orthodox pope; when we don't, as now, they hedge. They're the exact kind of men who sat of the English bench of bishops when Fat 'Arry the Eighth broke with with Rome in 1534.

We didn't need bishops like those then, and we don't need them now. Gutless bishops, wind-sniffers, C.S. Lewis' "Men Without Chests" are the curse of the Church, nearly its bane. As the End closes in, some of them might find their courage. Big deal. That happened with what they called Recusant Bishops back in the 16th century when Queen Mary came to power after the death of her father and her half-brother. But being "recusant" seems historically to translate, basically, "Too damned late to prevent disaster."

The Catholic Church's is bereft of bishops. The Vatican seems to loathe the orthodox ones; consider how it (under JPII, supposedly a conservative) treated the SSPX for ordaining bishops, a necessary step for the Society's survival. Then the pressure was brought to bear on the Society when one of those bishops, Richard Williamson, called into question the standard party line about the Holocaust. Doing that in Germany can get you thrown in jail, and Williamson was convicted in a German court of being a Holocaust denier. (Many Germans seem to relish "Holocaust Guilt" and the Jews will never let them off the hook, but the problem is the Germans run the EU and they make everyone else in that Deep State fraternity feel guilt about the Holocaust, too.) But all this means is the Jews have power to sack a bishop, and few indeed are the bishops who will mention the Jews today at all. The Jews – citing the Church's Holocaust Guilt  has the Church in effect teaching a new gospel; i.e., unlike in the pre-Vat2 days, when the Vatican had a office for this, the Catholic Church today has no evangelical outreach to Jews at all, and if one cannot be saved without Christ, which is the basic Church teaching, all these souls are lost. Or on the other hand, if one can be saved without Christ – something I know many rabbis believe the Church has changed its teaching on – rabbis, imams, Buddhists, you name it – then that's definitely not Christianity has it has been taught for 2,000 years.

And if this is the case, why hold back? Why not ask the learned professors at Cairo's Al-Azhar University to write up Christian doctrine? (Al-Azar is Islam's chief theological authority and the second oldest degree-granting higher education institution in the world – were I to have PhDs in any discipline from both Harvard and Al-Azhar, I could teach anything in the world to anyone anywhere!) Or why not appoint the Dalai Llama, by all accounts a great guy, to be the next pope? I mean, if you're  going to be ecumenical, don't be half-hearted about it! Ecumania!

So, our Catholic reality is, we of the laity and lower clergy, we have to attach ourselves to Viganò and the few like him, before it is too late. Anyone have any personal contact with their bishop? No? I thought not. Dioceses in the U.S. and much of the world are too large for bishops to have ANY contact with their flocks. A necessary Church reform would to treble or quadruple the bishoprics in every nation, and treble or quadruple the archbishops, then make the latter responsible for their suffragan bishops, and move the pope up from Wojtyłan rock-star or Bergoglian fathead heresiarch to be what a pope is supposed to be, Christ's Vicar, His ultimate servant in the Earthly Church, the supreme court and supreme theologian and supreme pontiff, the guy who deals with a profound issue only after it works its way through the Church's hierarchy of authority and thus narrowed down for one man to make his decisions on based upon Holy Writ and Holy Tradition.

Bergoglio has done none of that. Flashing his classic grimace (watching him perform a Novus Ordo Mass has to be depressing!), the man casts opinions off of his cuff whenever he has an itch: on planes, in asides to gay activists, in tête-à-tête comments with Communist reporters, you name it. He inserts himself into whatever he has a notion to: international boundaries and petty politics, the glories of socialism and the evils of capitalism, Global Warming, Covid. "Bergi" even had pagan Pachamama worship in churches in Rome! (And I read where he's encouraging a Pachamama shrine in Argentina now.) And the world bench of prelates "grin and bear it".

Blame John Paul II. Karol Wojtyła made the Bishop of Rome every Catholic's personal bishop, indeed, his personal clergyman. Now we have Bergoglio, everyone's personal heresiarch and headache.

Anyway, on and on the sorry spectacle goes, like Caligula or Nero debasing the job of emperor. On and on. But one is saved through participation the Sacraments, the chief of which is the Most Holy Eucharist, the New Covenant, the New Testament, the Transfigured Paschal Sacrifice, and for that, we need validly ordained priests and bishops who aren't just CEOs or feudal lords or bench warmers, but bishops. Viganò is such a one.

This Christmas season, we need to pray and sacrifice, and be prepared for whatever comes.

Bergoglio Jumps the Shark by Teaching Against the First Commandment

Salvē amici!

Well, after six years now of fish-leaping, it seems Jorge Bergoglio (a.k.a Pope Francis) has finally jumped the shark with his signed statement that God positively wills the plurality of religions.

Reaction of the Righteous has been righteous: First, Bishop Athanasius Schneider's reaction:
Bishop Athanasius Schneider, whom Francis has grounded and won’t let the bishop do public speaking, has responded with this: https://onepeterfive.com/schneider-christian-god-willed/
Cardinal Müller, whom Bergi fried from the CDD (old Holy Office, officially since Vatican 2 the "Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith") has produced a manifesto: https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/cardinal-mueller-issues-manifesto-a-quasi-correction-of-pope-francis-pontif
Orthodox (as in truly Catholic, rather than St. Gallen Mafia type) bishops respond: https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/cardinal-mueller-issues-manifesto-a-quasi-correction-of-pope-francis-pontif
And good ol’ Cardinal Burke opens his own website. Just so cool! https://cardinalburke.com/ He’s asking us connect to him. I'm certainly going to.

All this has happened rapid fire, like a .50 machine gun firing away. The reaction of Schneider, Müller, and Burke (sounds like a law firms) indicates Jorge Mario Bergoglio has finally "jumped the shark", i.e., gone too far. Breaking the First Commandment (actually, did you know there are 13 Thou Shall Nots in that section of the Bible?:) is just too much. Bergi should have been tossed years ago, but this outrageous statement comes just before a big Vatican meeting about the priest/bishop sex abuse scandal in Rome, where it is widely expected that that devil McCarrick will be laicized. Bergoglio forced a shut down on the U.S. Bishops dealing with this mess and everyone will be looking to see what happens in Rome (sounds like a line from Tacitus, doesn't it?).

Meanwhile, for those with the time, Taylor Marshall and Timothy Gordon cover it in detail:
and go through Spanish and Italian versions of what Bergoglio said, as well as the English.

There can be no question that Bergoglio said God positively willed plurality of religions, and this of course is a direct, unequivocal breaking of the First Commandment: "I am the Lord thy God, thou shalt not have strange (any other) gods before Me."

What the Pennsylvania indictments say about the Church, and two withering articles

Withering article here by Michael Walsh. Maybe not as good as this one by Michael Brendan Dougherty, but Walsh's piece has a lot of great points about abandoning the Latin, the Trad Latin Mass, and so on. Both articles are great; both these guys are Irish-Americans and they know how to eviscerate.

There's always been rats in the Church, of course. Remember Judas Iscariot? The Emperor Justinian, a man who never raised his voice, and who could order the death of thousands, had a bishop of his burned alive because that bishop was a homosexual. Or check out the life and times of St Peter Damian: (just one of many articles pointing out the similarities) and so on down to "Franny Spellman", cardinal archbishop of New York.

But always before, we had the Traditional Mass, and the dignity of it -- the supreme dignity of the Rite of St. Gregory the Great in its missa cantata / missa solemnis forms -- and both Sacred Tradition/Holy Writ and the Theology of divine insight that got us past bad priests, bishops, and popes. Also, at the nadir of papacy, in the 900s, we had a very strong Monastic movement. There was always a balance, in other words, one way or another. This is true even with the Reformation, which produced the Counter-Reformation Church (from 1540 to 1648). But aside from a few new Athanasiuses (I'm thinking of old Archbishop Lefebvre and our current Athanasius, Athanasius Schneider, we have very, very few bishops willing to "take the heat" and "stand up and be counted". (And when they do, like the Dubia Four, they're ignored and not supported by the others.)

These revelations from Pennsylvania will be the breaking point, however; they're just too awful, too outrageous, too widespread: they're the straw that breaks the camel's back. Look to some high prelate, a Cardinal for example, to resign his position in the Vatican (or wherever) and announce he's joining the SSPX.

That'll be the "shot heard 'round the world".

Otherwise, it looks like the secular law enforcement is going to have to simply start treating the Catholic Church as a Criminal Organization. Does that sound outrageous? Look at the facts, the cover-ups, the truth. What else can law enforcement do? And what can we, the laity, do?

In the meantime, we've got nothing in the mainstream Church at least (I refer to the hierarchy mainly. and many lower-level clergy) except a cacophonous misdirection, uncertainty, and dissimulation. Thanks to none other than John Paul II, the mainstream Church marginalized the SSPX, but it and the Trad groups still in Communion with Rome ARE the Catholic Church, at least as far as I'm concerned. And for many. Pope Francis is the poster boy for the "disinformation" campaign that is today so strongly in control of the mainstream Church as he works like a devil to undo, redo, and eviscerate Traditional Church teaching, and all done through his by now obvious and characteristic M.O. of slight of hand, innuendo, and insinuation. (And that is "Modernism" as it was from its Lutheran beginnings in Germany: it used "scholarship" as a cover to take any meaning out of the Bible, and then Church history; we have a situation that has Modernism's fingerprints all over it.)

Sure, in part, all this mess is because the "Gay Mafia" is so entrenched in the Church, and its members' ceaseless quest to keep from being exposed. They're like demons in possession of someone, hiding "in plain sight" from the exorcist and trying not to be cast out. But as Fr. Ripperger says, anytime you misuse a thing, you open it up to diabolical interest, infestation, or possession. "Being Gay is not OK", in a spiritual sense (not to mention in every other sense), in other words. Neither is adultery, fornication, or a host of other sins. So far, the Gay Mafia has succeeded but now, these revelations from Pennsylvania are so out-and-out obscene, and coming after all the official bishops-based efforts to "clean up" the Church, that they can no longer maintain the illusion that "all is well" or is something "getting better" or that the bishops are in control. That last one is laughable. The bishops are in control of nothing now, not even "spin".

But in larger part, all this mess is because of the total Modernist confusion Vatican II introduced. What does the Vat2 Church really believe? Can any of you tell me? No? Think you can? Try to. That's Modernism. It's a type of "deconstruction" of both the institution and the teachings of the Church. I can't tell you, after six decades of being in the American Catholic Church, what it believes, or even what it is, exactly. The Body of Christ? As Saint Paul said, can Christ be united to adulterers and murders through us? (1 Corinthians 6:15 & following) "God Forbid!" Paul 6's Humanae Vitae for example, which merely reiterated traditional teaching, 2,000 years of Revelation, was rejected by probably a majority of theologians. Did those theologians know what they believed? I think not.

It's time to stop this. The bishops obviously can't. If they swore an oath to the Devil himself to destroy the Church, what more could they have done? They stripped it of it beauty, its mystery, its timelessness, its holiness, its morality, and even its mission (JP2 kissed the Koran, for example; how confusing is that? Just one example.) One thing we can do: don't give the "AmChurch" any money, not unless it is a religious order or house or individual priest/monk/nun you know and can personally vouch for. But remember that the "AmChurch" gets tens (if not more) of millions from the Federal government to help take care of "refugees", and that's why they're so over-the-top demanding about illegals being let in. As long as they get that, they're laughing at us, the laity.
