January 6th: Twilight... into Darkness... or...

...or Dawn? I am afraid I doubt the latter.

Amici,

It sure look like utter Darkness for all of us, doesn't it? Things keep happening, often seemingly on a minute-by-minute basis, but I wanted to get this written now. First of wall, the following interview of Stephen K. Bannon with Archbishop Viganò has just been published at Gateway Pundit.
Ignore the pop-ups and read it. It is direct and clear about what is happening and what we need to do.

A Review of the situation:
The Election Process at this Late Stage
Right now the idea is that on January 6th (which happens to be the Feast of the Epiphany), some Republicans in both Houess will challenge the electors for China-agent Joe Biden from certain states, requiring the Congress to temporarily halt the validation process, separate into its two houses and hold a two-hour debate per each objected-to set of electors, and then they vote: if a majority in each House votes to accept the challenged electors, then the challenged electors are accepted. Otherwise, they're rejected. Since the Democrats control the House and since RINO (GOPe) senators, in collusion with Democrats, control the Senate (even assuming the two feckless Republican candidates in Georgia some how win their races on January 5th), then evidence or no evidence, the electors of "China Joe" the demented woman groper and girl hair sniffer will be accepted.

Apparently the big hope is that in debate on January 6th (and going on into January 7th, as about six states will be objected to, and each having its two-hour debate), the grotesque voter fraud will be revealed for all to see via the Congressional debates, and thus cannot be "swept under the rug" by the Mainstream Media.

Alabama Congressman Mo Brooks in this link below details, in a very few minutes, a list of illegal voting activities; Ohio's Jim Jordan is also great in this short interview.
An excerpt:
Mo Brooks: "How this plays out is dependent on the American people. This is an organic movement that has risen up from angry American voters, 70-plus million, who have been disenfrancised by voter fraud and theft. To the extent they contact their senators and their congressmen, and demand an honest and accurate election, then we're going to win this fight on January 6th. But if the American people do not rise up, if they do not contact their senators and congressmen, then we're not going to win on January 6th."
An Préachán again: the Big Rally
I've seen a number of sources estimate that literally millions of people are enroute to D.C. for the huge rally against the steal on January 6th. Politically, a rally of a million or less will be a huge disappointment; a rally of two million will be ignored. A rally of three or more million will over-awe the wretched politicans in the D.C. hell-hole and force them to re-elect Trump. So goes the theory. But of course, you can fully expect the governing authorities in Maryland, Virginia and D.C. to do everything in their power to stop people from attending. I see the mayor of D.C. has called out the National Guard. Expect all sorts of trouble.

All of the above manoeuvers seems like a longshot, but not intrinsically impossible. Next to impossible, perhaps, but not wholly so. A classic "Hail Mary" pass (so we can definitely pray a lot of Hail Marys!) Millions of people surrounding Congress on January 6th WILL get the attention of the nation. (The world is paying close attention, that's for sure.) It might actually be a "Storming the Bastille" moment. I pray it is. But the Democrats (and their abused spouses, the mainstream RINO Republicans) are ruthless in grasping and holding onto their power. Power is their god, their devil, and their very souls. Give a Democrat an inch, and he'll take ten miles; give a standard Republican an inch and he'll give it back. Such is our political world.

A possible alternative to the Congressional manoeuvers above is whether Vice-President, Mike Pence, in his capacity of officially over-seeing the January 6th events in Congress, himself refuses to accept the challenged electors (if he can do that is unclear constitutionally; should he try it, it would end up in the feckless, useless courts, of course), then the House of Representatives would have to vote for president by state, one vote per state, wherein the Republicans are in the majority there, state-by-state. (Pelosi, just re-elected Speaker – at 80 years of age! – probably wouldn't call that vote.
  • Sending it to the Courts would be good because it would eat up time, and the more time, the more the message and details of the voting fraud get out. (See below.) But few actually expect Mike Pence to do this.
  • One further hope (on a wing and a prayer) would be for the Director National Intelligence John Ratcliffe to suddenly release a M.O.A.B. (mother of all bombs) intelligence report that shows serious foreign involvement in the election, even up to proof of Joe Biden's being a traitor (well, at this point, those who "handle" him since he's non compos mentis). I was counting on this report to be released back on December 18th, and now no one outside of Ratcliffe himself and a handful of others have a clue as to what's going on with this. The silence on it is total. Hence my near despair.
  • That, and the Deep State will stop at nothing, my friends:
And REMEMBER! This is how they treat a President who got us out of foreign wars, achieved real peace in the Middle East, brought manufacturing jobs back to the U.S., and stood up to Abortion Inc., and so on and on. Think about that.

Questions
  1. Why, indeed, hasn't DNI Ratcliffe released the report? Are the intelligence agencies (almost all of them certainly "in the bag" for Democrats) the cause of the hold up? Surely Ratcliffe knows it will all be "round-filed" into oblivion if released later at some point in a Biden presidency, just as will the Durham investigation, (if there even is such a thing, which I strongl doubt).
  2. What about all the Court challenges? They've almost all proven useless, especially that incredible (simply unbelievable) Supreme Court decision not to hear Texas' case against Pennsylvania. But was all that intentional? Should V.P. Pence, for example, throw out the challenged Biden electors, how can the Democrats actually take that to the Courts, since the Courts have said this election mess is none of their business? The Supreme Court, especially, has destroyed its reputation, and maybe its power. (They certainly have cut their own throats if Biden's masters "pack the court," but in general a Biden administration will ignore them whenever desired, and a second Trump administration will, too.) Trying to suddenly say, "Oh, NOW we need to get involved!" will make them look utterly venal and partisan. See: https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2021/01/we_were_laughed_out_of_court_because_the_courts_have_become_ridiculous.html
  3. Was the Trump Administration THIS stupid, to have every move of their countered so completely and thus be totally "boxed in"? Or is Trump going to pull a Sun Tzu-style maneuver out of his hat and shatter the bad guys when they least expect it? We know the Democrats "role-played" out war game-style various scenarios, so why weren't the Trump people prepared? Didn't Trump's staff do something similar? It looks like they were inept bunglers and utterly out-manoeuvered, but were they? Or, invoking Occam's Razor, was Donald Trump simply betrayed by close staff like Pat Cipollone and Mark Meadows, as Lin Wood alledges? I suppose we're about to find out.
Utter Frustration
"Hindsight" is always so crystal clear, naturally. History is buried alive under examples of what clearly should-have-been-done-but-wasn't. Now we can all see that President Trump should have simply ordered Federal Marshalls to seized the voting equipment being used in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Detroit, and Atlanta, wherever voting was being done on the morning of November 4th. He should have done so ignoring the DOJ and FBI, ignoring all legal advice, and do on his own initiative, for as president he constitutionally charged with seeing the laws are enforced. He had every right to do so, just as he should have been told by a careful staff that the various state legislatures had made no provision for such crazy mail-in voting, for they're are the only ones whose ruling mattered. This all would have been over by Friday, November 6th. And of course, the Democrats would have sued Trump in Courts, hither and yon, but by the time it was sorted out, we'd have had all the overwhelming proof of cheating that we needed. Now most of the evidence has been wiped away. As I say, utterly frustrating.

End of the Republican Party, and the Republic, too

The bottom line is, of course – and I am sorry to say this is absolutely true – if the Democrats and their abused handmaidens the RINO Republicans get away with this vote steal, we've all just witnessed the LAST free and fair election in American history. There won't be a re-engagement in 2022 or 2024, my friends, because if they stole it in broad daylight now, they'll not hesitate to do so again, and even more brazenly. (Read what Archbishop Viganò says about what this open fraud will do to the U.S. world reputation.)
  • We ourselves are guilty, for we've really known this was happening, surely all of us should have seen vote fraud, for years. For example that California has going totally Blue, totally Leftist Democrat, was obviously a fraud. The Leftist have run that state into the pavement, turning the "Golden State" into downtown Baltimore or Detroit. We turned a blind eye to it all.
  • The election there in CA in 2018 had outrageous fraud occurring, but the Republicans let it pass. California is now so destroyed economically and morally that people and businesses are fleeing for their lives, and so will everyone in every state that is run by these very bad – and stupid but utterly ruthless – people, people who NEVER seem to get voted out of office.
Bye-bye Repubican Party: and good riddance to "the Stupid Party"
  • Dinesh D'Souza says any Repubican who votes NOT to stop the steal is dead politically: https://www.citizenfreepress.com/breaking/mitch-mcconnells-future-is-at-stake/
  • No doubt, but the whole party is dead. The hatred and anger at mainstream Republicans is astounding. Should Donald Trump somehow keep free from being arrested after January 20th – and you can fully expect them to do arrest him – then he'll oganize a new party (and a new Fox News), for this train has been coming down the pack for ages.
  • History: Consider that in 1908, William Howard Taft, the last Republican president of a united party, won the presidential election in a landslide. In 1912, a crazed Theodore Roosevelt split the party formally between the Big-State "Progressives" (called the Bull Moose Party) and the traditional Republicans, thereby allowing Democrat Woodrow Wilson in, and he promptly began dismantling the American constitution and national state, creating in 1917 the world's first fascist state (before Mussolini even coined the word!).
  • In 1920, the two Repulican factions were so divided they had to settle on Warren Harding for president. The American people were so sick of the Democrats' "Big State" even then that Harding was elected in a landslide. Conservative American Nationalist Calvin Coolidge was treated as a god. By 1932, Herbert Hoover, more or less a Progressive Repubican, had sunk the party nationally for decades.
  • After two decades of depressing party hack candidates, in 1952, Robert Taft was "Mr. Republican" and perhaps the most conservative big-shot Republican since Calvin Coolidge, yet the "Country-Club" Repubs defeated him and put General Eisenhower, a non-Repbulican, into office, who governed neutrally. Though he said he feared "the Deep State" (which he called the military-industrial complex), he did nothing to return to pre-Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) America. Richard Nixon, Eisenhower's Veep, was a typical modernist-style Progressive Repub, as was his successor Gerald Ford, and as was all of the modern Republican candidates with the two exceptions of Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan. Goldwater, who was a true conservative, wrung the nomination from the Mainstream Republicans in 1964, but Lyndon Johnson saw to it Goldwater got nowhere – and the mainstream Repubicans of that day helped that outcome, too. ("LBJ" was one of the worst presidents in U.S. history, till Obama came along; Derelict Biden will be worse.) And Ronald Reagan, of course, who was a true Republican American nationalist, as Goldwater had been, was elected in a massive landslide in 1984, 49 states! But again, the "RINOs" kept him from running in 1976, and then nearly kept him from getting the nomination in 1980 (they made him put "Country-Club Republican George H.W. Bush in as his Veep).
  • After his election, they certainly kept Reagan from getting too much done. The Bushes and John McCain and that rat Romney were all worse than the standard "Rockefeller Republican" of previous decades in that they were actually anti-American globalists and not just "Country-Club Republicans". The trifecta of the two Bushes, Clinton, and then Obama, nearly completely sold the country down the toilet to China – almost nothing could be "Made in America" after them, and Obama liked to say, "Those (manufacturing jobs) are never coming back."
  • And of course those pathetic Globalist Repubs barely won their elections, or like Bob Dole and McCain and Romney, they lost heavily.
  • Donald Trump comes along and he's not really a Republican either, in either the usual Country-Club or Globalist sense. Instead, he's an American Nationalist, as Goldwater and Reagan were. So naturally Trump was elected the first time narrowly (because of all the MSM and Elite opposition to him) and massively relected the second, as Reagan was, but THIS TIME the Democrats, AND the RINO Republicans, were just not going to have that. Period. We see how they reacted.
  • Thus, the situation we have today, my friends, wherein the only possible solution is the creation of a new party – unless President Trump is indeed inaugurated this January 20th, by divine miracle and the will of the people, in which case he needs to purge the GOPe/RINOs from the party.
  • For the country's survival, however, that may be too late, because should the Democrats in control of all three branches of government, then they intend, like Woodrow Wilson and FDR, to recreate the American government in the images of Leftism.

Twilight into Darkness
I desperately do not want to despair, my friends, but what we're seeing with this last-minute attempt to save the Trump Presidency does not give me much hope. Though it is actually constitutional, it still appears "Rube Goldberg".
If you have been following the news, you don't need me to opine further, except I will note I was very engraged to see Arkansas Sentator Tom Cotton "go to the Dark Side" and I do not know if Ted Cruz's idea for a Commission to study whether there was a steal (we know absolutely there was voter fraud, as clearly and simply explained: https://townhall.com/columnists/kevinmccullough/2021/01/03/the-cheat-in-plain-sight-n2582470 for one plain example), an idea based on what happened regarding the1876 election, is a legitimate attempt to save the nation or whether it is just some Senate "hustle" or "con job" to make it look like the Republican Party needs saving. Either way, it could not even have been suggested by Cruz unless Mitch McConnell approved it. And Mitch McConnell either is a traitor, plain and simple, or an utter fool. To be charitable, probably the latter, I suppose, for "old farts" tend to fight the new war with the last war's methods, or they tend to oppose the rising political forces that come at them in their old age as though these were merely a reboot of the ones they knew in their far-off formative years.
  • That's why Hitler didn't have to have a Communist-style revolution in Germany. Ever wonder why that was? Herr Sticklegruber's son Adolf Hitler (Adolf's father was baptised Alois Sticklegruber, the surname of Alois' unmarried mother – no one knows who Alois' father actually was, but of course the names of demons are legion) just finagled himself being appointed chancellor, and thereafter doing what he damned well intended to do all along.
  • Adolf, like the Democrats or Sulla or Julius Caesar or Napoleon, simply seized what he wanted, pushed and pushed and did not tolerate dissent, even in Hitler's case to destroying the Storm Troopers' leadership, his otherwise loyal supporters.
Democrats are like that in that they are merciless for power. Governor Cuomo of New York, for example, is persecuting Jews. I mean, it is incredible, but there it is. And this fascinating but depressing article below shows how so many American Jews are "turning themselves in" as it were, to be persecuted. https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2021/01/the_new_jewish_exodus.html

Our Future?
Everyone who has not given themselves up to delusion and madness understands what the election of the derelict ChiCom-slave Joe "Girl Groper" Biden means: open borders for foreigners yet endless lockdowns for actual Americans; nationally mandated mask-wearing coupled with a smackdown on actual free speech, which will be necessarily brutal (they can't allow Trump or other American Nationalists to speak out); and economically the utter destruction of "Mainstreet America" to the elevation of "Wall Street America" via taxes and surrender to China in trade; the loss of U.S. manufacturing (again) and endless transfer of American wealth overseas; and of course absolute surrender to all the idiotic shibboleths of the Left: a good example is the new Pelosi House of Representatives mandating sexual neutral "woke" word usage, banning gender pronouns like "father" and the like. You are NOT allowed to allude to father or mother or whatever.

The loonies are not just ruling over us, but they are mocking us, "mooning" us (ahem) in utter assurance that they've won. Notice how the U.S. House of Reps ended its opening prayer with "Awomen".

As for myself, exiled in a small Central European country, I feel like I'm buried alive. Wearing a mask (on buses, etc.) drives me to thoughts I won't mention, and I refuse to take the damned vaccine. I could care less what happens to me, but I do care what happens to my wife and children, and it won't be good. There's no where for me to go to, certainly not Ireland: https://www.citizenfreepress.com/breaking/never-seen-anything-like-this-in-ireland/.

So I'm praying a miracle occurrs this week, but, well, have any of you ever watched Martin Scorsese' movie "Silence"? Or consider, if the Lord God was willing for Christianity to be destroyed in its original heartland, the Near East, over 13 centuries of oppresion as brutal as what Catholics in Japan suffered, why do we think He'll act to save our abortion-adoring nation? We're all about to become Kakure Kirishitan (hidden Christians). Archbishop Viganò knows this.

As for the American Church (and the Church in the West, in general), aside from any occasional good priests you know (like Father James Altman in Wisconsin), and maybe a handful of bishops (like Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas), well, as old Pat Buchanan wrote the other day about the new abortion law in Massachusetts: https://www.creators.com/read/pat-buchanan/12/20/who-speaks-for-the-unborn-in-massachusetts :
Speaking for the Catholic Action League, executive director C. J. Doyle blamed Catholic religious officials and Catholic organizations for their failure to rebuke lawmakers who routinely vote for abortion rights.

"None of the Catholics who voted for this life-ending measure will suffer a word of rebuke from any priest or prelate in Massachusetts. ... There will be no articles or editorials critical of them in the Catholic press. No one will be denied Holy Communion. No one will be expelled from the Knights of Columbus."

This silence, said Doyle, "equals consent." And given this silence, "no rational person can reasonably be expected to take seriously Catholic opposition to the killing of the unborn in Massachusetts."

As the Catholic Church is in the Bay State, so it will be in Biden's America. Kakure Kirishitan, that's going to be us. It is us now, practicably.

Even of course should the worse come to worse, we must keep fighting. If nothing else, being a martyr clears you of a lot of sins!

Major Vindication: Hydroxychloroquine Study Vindicates Its Use for Covid

Amici,

You-all may remember a number of clinical (big-time, double-blind, etc.) studies regarding Hydroxychloroquine began in various places some time ago. I've been expecting them to start to surface with results. About this test below, I've been reading about it for a couple of days, but most info is behind paywalls. Finally, this one at the Gateway Pundit popped up.

See also this report by veteran journalist Sharyl Attkisson.

It involved 2,451 patients over a six-month period. (French Dr. Didier Raoult released a study with similar results last month in France that involved over 3,000 patients.) In the video embedded in the article, Dr Ramin Oskoui notes that we've seen excellent results with Hydroxy in Spain, Italy, France, Turkey, and Morocco.

We can expect more studies producing reports this summer. A lot of people are eating their words, too -- because President Trump touted Hydroxy, the American Left went full force against it. And some time ago, The Lancet, the prestigious Brit Medical Journal, got seriously burned by a fake Hydroxy study that purported to show the drug did not help at all. It took about a week for that "fake news" to crash, for The Lancet to publish an humiliating apology, and even the shadowy organization that sponsered that "study" then went out of business.

Remember, Hydroxy has to be administered quickly after diagnosis, and many articles say it should be taken with zinc, as apparently the zinc does the job; the Hydroxy allows the zinc into the infected cells, where it kills the virus. But whatever the details, this is an important breakthrough about Hydroxychloroquine.

Columbus, Ohio, to remove statue of Christopher Columbus from city hall

Amici,

Well, I see Columbus, Ohio's city government is removing Chris Columbus' statue from in front of city hall, and putting it "in storage"; Columbus State is also removing its statue, too. https://apnews.com/6bf3ac575bee8ac212d6d4dc83525951
A statue of Christopher Columbus will be removed by the largest city that bears the explorer’s name, the Ohio city’s mayor announced Thursday.
The statue located in front of City Hall in Columbus, Ohio, will be removed immediately and placed in storage as monuments to Confederates and other historical figures who repressed or oppressed other people are being dismantled across the country.
“For many people in our community, the statue represents patriarchy, oppression and divisiveness.” Democratic Mayor Andrew Ginther said in a release. “That does not represent our great city, and we will no longer live in the shadow of our ugly past.”
"The statue represents patriarchy, oppression, and divisiveness...", don't these idiots know they're the first to be shot when the Revolution comes (a Left rev or a Right?) Lenin's "useful idiots" are always the first to provide fertilizer for the weeds. Morons. Dolts. Imbeciles. (Somehow those types are to smart for describing Mayor Ginther. Compost? There ya go.)

So, how long before they rename the city? And to what? The name of some rapper? Itsoktocry, or Lilbootycall, or Bootychaaain, or Lil Toenail, or my favorite actual rapper name: Leeky Bandz? Or here are a couple of actual girl names for inner city babies: La'Quishraniqua and Mo'Nique (clever way to spell "Monique"): so La'Quishraniqua Mo'Nique City? Maybe they can find a Black Lesbian Tranny with that name -- kill three "birds" with one stone, as it were? When I worked as a textbook editor, I used to make up outlandish inner-city names for use in the books, and no one ever caught that they were made up.

To all my friends who live in Columbus, I'm sorry to see it. And I'm glad I'm not there. Were I there, I'd dress up in Renaissance elegance and march up and down in front of city hall with a sign, "We Europeans discovered the world; you-all had more class as cannibals" or something similar. Maybe: "We Europeans should have left you in the jungle eating each other." Something. Such stupidity as displayed by the Columbus city council and mayor just begs for the nastiest, snarkiest reaction. Of course, I'd need quite a few body guards.

What this is really about is to remove all White accomplishments, all White heroes, and the foundation of the distinctiveness of Western Civ. Iconoclasm is always about erasure, oblivion, and what the Romans called Damnatio memoriae. Columbus is esp a target because he was an not merely an explorer and "adventure capitalist" but a crusader as well, wanting to bring the Catholic Faith to the Indies even before the Jesuits were founded. And of course the Church today would rather die itself than defend the man.

Archbishop Viganò is right in what he wrote Trump. https://www.lifesitenews.com/opinion/archbishop-viganos-powerful-letter-to-president-trump-eternal-struggle-between-good-and-evil-playing-out-right-now John Zmirak has an excellent column on the Church's decompostion here at Human Events. JZ doesn't mince words.

Historically, a little less than 34 years after Columbus discovered America, the Battle of Mohács was engaged on August 29, 1526, and Hungary lost that battle to the Turks.

Somehow I don't think it will take 34 years to loose Columbus, Ohio, to the mob.

An Préachán

I've never ate there and I now never will. There's stupid, profound stupidity, and something beyond that for which there are no words. The Chick-fil-A guy is the definition of that.

Victor Davis Hanson discusses the politicization of the military...

... military coup possible against President Trump. Very sobering podcast. The podcast is here; titled: Winding the Coup Clock.

Here's an excerpt I transcribed from the end of Prof. Hanson's talk:

We're in a really precarious position once the generals and admirals dominate the media and the cultural landscape and tell us that an elected president has no moral authority to do anything and then unelected officers and unelected intelligence bureaucrats have the higher moral ground to oppose him, and when you have an admiral saying he should leave sooner and the better, and another person said we can unite without him, I'm not sure that that doesn't enter Trump's mind that if he gave an order to a four-star that to send in the 82nd or 101st into Seattle and restore order, that that general would say "No," and what would be the reaction if he did say no: Would everyone say, "Oh my God; in the 232nd year of our republic, we now have a military coup!" or would they say, "Aha, this person was a genuine Patriot; he stood up to a tyrant; he protected the Constitution." And he would be canonized. And with those options and differences in reaction be known to the military, and how would they react to them once you will erode the authority of the commander-in-chief, for whatever reason of your dislike of him and once you politicize the military and once you have 93% negative coverage of an administration, and once you've already established the precedent in the Director of National Intelligence and the CIA and the FBI that you have the president and the vice president in 2016 that you have a moral right to the Constitution to oppose that president -- whether that's surveilling his national security advisor or doctoring documents or redacting names and leaking them or -- when you've already gone there and cross the Rubicon, I wouldn't  be surprised at anything anymore.

An Préachán again: In other words, if you're not afraid, you should be.

Such a coup would cause absolute chaos in government, economic crash (just as good economic news is coming out) and probably open warfare in the streets. Real warfare, not the garbage rioting by ignorant thugs and Antifa whites. An American coup would also be the greenlight for China to attack Taiwan and anyone else they wanted to.

As for a true civil war in resistance to the generals, Forbes says about a million people have signed up for Trump's Tulsa rally. Don't believe the polls saying his support is at 45%. Those same polls predicted Hillary would win. (I think the polls fake the number for a variety of reasons, not least of which is to adversely affect pro-Trump morale; but also of significant importance is that the big urban political machines need "cover" for their vote stealing, and strong polls for Biden today can explain how he gets the usual Democrat Black vote in those urban areas.)

We are in seriously dangerous waters, my friends. It is no joke. And all this idiocy of Russian Collusion (I know people who insist Trump DID collude with Russia, or who insist that the Mueller report did find collusion, etc.) and endless effort to delegtimize Trump from the get-go (Obama clearly intended to have Trump in a confrontation with Russia when Trump took the oath of office) have created the environment where what these retired generals and admirals are saying is WWII aviation gasoline poured on a fire.

Here are two Victor Davis Hanson articles related to this:

The Ghost of George Floyd about to be retired? Riots losing steam? Exploitation not what it used to be?

Amici,

I know you're all tired of the Racism Riots and the endless MSM (Left and Right) chatter about it endlessly, but I'll take this opportunity to make a last observation or two. This most recent avatar of the long-running Clash of the Races in the U.S. is fizzling out fast.

First, what is/was it, exactly? A protest against "police brutality"?

For those, such as my European friends (Antifa and BLM riots are occurring now in some European cities), stats from various sources over the past decade or so show that there's no real case to be made that U.S. Blacks are special targets of U.S. police (many of whom are Black). Occasionally, of course, it happens, as with George Floyd. But as a predicate for mass riots and burning and looting, no, it is insane to try to justify all that by the small number of such actual cases. See the Attorney General Bill Barr in a hostile interview swat down every attempt to make this sort of case: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/06/07/sunday-talks-attorney-general-bill-barr-vs-margaret-brennan/

Even more importantly, all these police forces and cities that have George Floyd-type killings are run by Democrats. For example, Democrats have run Minneapolis for 40 years or so, non-stop. Same is true of Detroit, Baltimore, Chicago, you name it. It must be understood that in great part, the majors and city councils of these places are allowing all this insanity in order to cover up their own incredible malfeasance, their incompetence, and their using of the Blacks as stooges to further their aims. Even more incredibly, they have the gall to blame the Republicans for these problems! Republicans, shut out of these cities, have be definition nothing to do with the Democrats' lousy government.

Second, is racism inherent in U.S. society? The most basic "racism" in the U.S. is Affirmative Action (today and for some decades past, at least, whatever its use was in the '60s; Griff can explain earlier time) for it implicitly (and, really, explicitly) enshrines into law that African-Americans are incapable of ever competing in society their own and need all kinds of help and preferences given to them, apparently in perpetuity. Anyone – ANYONE – who has looked for work in the U.S. since probably the '80s or even before (Lyndon Johnson legalized this racism in the '60s) has been aware that if one is white, male, and non-homosexual, one has a Hell of a time getting a job. Blacks and women, have the advantage in getting jobs.

As long as that full, formally institutionalized racism that is Affirmative Action structurally built into the U.S. legal and business architecture, we'll never get ride of actual racism. White perpetually resent the quotas, Blacks can never know if they get a job on their merits or the color of their skin. An excellent article on this little-discussed (because it is taboo) subject, is this: https://pjmedia.com/columns/philip-carl-salzman/2020/06/06/affirmative-action-the-systemic-racism-no-one-wants-to-talk-about-n503621

Finally, were the George Floyd riots an attempt to overthrow the U.S. government?

Sheesh, if so, I could have organized a putsch / coup d'état better than what's happened this past week – probably have, several times! (If I think about it.:) I was expecting the "Masses" to charge the WH Saturday, but nope. I was expecting a Storming of the Winter Palace or a redo of the Pairisan mob carrying Louis XVI from Versailles to Paris in 1789.

But no.

And then yesterday, the Anifa-George Soros crew were going to organize a million man march on D.C. but...

Yesterday the new black panderers organized a million Antifa march with the Black Lives Matter crowd in Washington DC.  Unfortunately, they fell approximately 990,000 people short of the million person goal; only about 10,000 marchers present.

I guess the Whitey Antifa kids found they just couldn't get their feral inner-city mobs to "get with the program" beyond looting stores.

And maybe Papa Bergoglio can wash the feet of Muslims in Rome and get kudos from the MSM, but Whitey doin' it down in the 'hood, well, it just doesn't impress anyone:

Late today I see headlines where Democrats in Congress have "taken the knee" to George Floyd, using the U.S. Capitol as a stage for their burlesque. Idiots. In contrast, a Georgia state trooper who happens to be Black said today, "I only kneel for God." (The idea of any American kneeling or bowing – remember Obama bowed to the king of Saudi Arabia – is reprehensible.)

So, well, well. I guess when you breed a couple of generations "without chests" as C.S. Lewis called them, then even the revolutionaries are without chests, too, right?

Seriously, something is deflating the whole shebang. "Sundance" discusses it at some length at the above conservativetreehouse link. There definitely was a plan involving Joe Biden at the funeral in Houston, where Biden was to meet with Obama and "W", the second Bush president (I've lost all respect for that one, every smidgen). And James Clyburn, the South Carolina Congressman (6th district, from 1993 – he's a great argument for term limits), is the "ringmaster" for Biden and the Democrat leadership this show. He's the one who put Biden in the Dem nomination, and is the Biden campaign's capo. But whatever. For "inside baseball" on this circus, checkout the conservativetreehouse. I know that site often seems like it is too much into the tea leaves, but they've been right far more often since Trump's election than otherwise.

For instance, few of you know about the BLM (Black Lives Matter) cohort being in essence a Muslim-American front org., while most of the traditional U.S. Black Civil Rights/Oppression crowd are "AME", i.e. originally founded in and still (more or less, to some degree) encompassing Black Christian churches. The two disparate groups have joined up – the newer, more radical, Islamic BLM with the AME – but they turn off the Latino elements of "the oppressed", not to mention any Black man or woman who refuses to live down on the dystopia-like "Asphalt Plantation" inner cities (which is pretty much burned out dystopia, now). It's the BLM that is supporting the "Defund the Police" meme because they want to use Muslim Sharia law enforcers, and the AME is not on for that ride. Even the more classic types of "Liberal-Left" Whites are scared of that.

As Sundace writes: "This type of political calculation based on identity politics always carries a risk. We could be seeing – once again – the outcome of what happens when political ideology intersects with a very divided assembly of special interests."

And of course, I hasten to add, that none of the above affects the ongoing Deep State effort to remove Trump from office. That three-year-long puts ch seems to be always with us, like STDs, mosquito, and human folly.

Official confirmation that CoVid-19's death rate is NOT what the WHO said it was...

VERY important news.

Dr Birx, on Trump's Coronavirus team, confirmed what a number of people (usually called idiots, hacks, "deniers" and what not) were right all along.

An except:
On Tuesday Dr. Deborah Birx confirmed our earlier allegations that the WHO was wrong with their coronavirus predictions.
The actual mortality rate will be significantly under 1%.
President Trump: I think the main factor is the mortality rate. We talked about the mortality rate when we first started, people were thinking about 3 and 4 percent and now they’re talking about a much lower number. I think it is a number that will be a lot different than people thought.
Dr. Birx: The mortality rate is driven almost exclusively by what we have been talking about by people with preexisting conditions and older. So that has become from the very beginning that was our emphasis. When we started two or three weeks ago talking with one another our focus has been how do we protect those with preexisting conditions and the elderly…
President Trump: It’s a lot lower than we originally thought. Frankly, it’s a lot lower.
Dr. Birx: Yes, you know the estimate in Wuhan was originally. It was over three percent. When they (Chinese) looked outside of Wuhan it was 0.7%. In South Korea it was 0.7 to 0.8%. That’s like a tyranny of averages. That’s probably missing 50-60% of the data because no one was testing asymptomatics. Remember in every country you had to be symptomatic to get a test. So we’re making case fatality rates when we’re missing a significant part of the data.
The Gateway Pundit was right.
And we were first with this news.

The media and medical experts have not yet discovered the absolute irresponsible comparisons coming from the World Health Organization Director that set this global economic panic into motion.

Ron again:
For a very detailed analysis of the virus's death rate, and all sorts of related issues, such as how many people will get it, how long it might last, etc., see:

So many amazing bits of info, I can't begin to excerpt anything.

Trump, Syria, and the Kurds

Is President Trump somehow betraying the Kurds?

This is just another stick to beat the Trump piñata with.

We need to get outta there. That area of the world ate up Roman legions and a number of Roman emperors -- Julian the Apostate comes to mind, but so does the far more worthy Valerian.
It's a part of the world trapped in endless, endemic war, and was before the coming of Islam or the Mongols hoards. (Islam and the Mongol hoards made it worse.)

George H.W. Bush "betrayed" the Kurds, too, as did his son. Hell, the Kurds were "betrayed" by Picot and Sykes after WWI. The Brits "betrayed" them again when they left Iraq after WWII. The only "peace" the Kurds knew was when the Achaemenid Persian Empire ruled that entire area, and ironically enough, it was a Western conqueror, none other than Alexander himself, who overthrew them and ushered yet another millennium of brutal slaughter.

If Alex couldn't pull it off, who are we to try?

We need to get out. It's as simple as that.

A "great power" is precisely that because it can chose when to fight, and when not to fight. Read Sun Tzu.

In fact, I think President Trump will do that region more good by us getting outta there than us staying. If we leave, and ignore the idiotic provocations of both Iran and Turkey, both of the regimes might well fall; they're probably headed for a collision course with each other anyway. If they're chaos grows, then powers more in need of the region's oil can become involved.

Israel can defend itself. It's a nuclear nation and nothing terrifies like nukes, which is why the Iranians want nukes so badly, of course.

How Trump is handling Iran

I don't go into politics here as much as I might like, just as I don't do enough traditional Irish prayer, language, or culture as I'd like. But one "thing political" that really irks me is people saying Trump is Stupid.

The Iranians recently, through their terrorist vassals (well, really, it was the Iranians; their Houthis vassals couldn't manage such an attack), launched an audacious attack on Saudi Arabian oil fields. Many commentators whom I respect, and I don't mean John Bolton-types, not remotely, were saying President Trump had to act militarily.

But instead, the President is sending a few military people to Saudi Arabia to bolster them a bit. He's letting the Shia Twelvers who run Iran -- in effect -- sit in their stink holes and "act out" till the foam out of their mouths reaches their knees, dripping off their scraggly beards. He's embarrassing them by showing that their temper tantrum isn't going to provoke him. This is exceedingly important because all their terror associates, best buds, and esp their enemies, will see them for the cretins they are. Nothing embarrasses a Muslim like showing the world he's both impotent and infantile. (Allah is supposed -- and this is formal Muslim doctrine -- to give each Muslim man a far greater libido than any non-Muslim man. Therefore, any hint of impotency -- in this case, political and military -- has religious ramifications.)

Or look at it from another angle: Remember when the president moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem? All the Muslim terror threats beforehand, and the damp squib of a Muslim response afterward. Idiot children throwing a tantrum looked more dignified. And effective! (What's the point of throwing a tantrum if the parent walks away?) That showed Muslims everywhere that they had nothing, nothing at all, with which to influence or even terrorize Trump with.

When the Shia Twelver Cult that runs Iran finds out -- as they are finding out -- that they can't provoke Trump the way they could the Bushes or the Democrats, they only realize they've shot their wad. They have nothing left. Their dreams of restoring Persian Empire glory is bat guano. They can't tweak the Bald Eagle's tailfeathers. And all their terror buddies know it. They're losing "face" as would be said in the Far East.

What's more important, their Russian quasi-ally, will see they're useless for what the Russians want to use them for.

Here, in this Saudi attack, they did something that was really outrageous -- of serious international import, and Trump dismisses them haughtily, then goes on merrily about his business cracking apart the Chicoms' glory dreams in his tariff vise. So, the Iranians sit there and look utterly stupid, which they are, before not only the whole world, but their important terrorist clients, allies, and foes. They've shot their wad. And everyone knows it.

They can make an ever bigger, more obvious attack.

But were they to do so, even the most hapless, feckless Euros, then, would have to shun them utterly. The Iranians have achieved exactly nothing -- but look like what they are: thugs. And inept, Key Stone Kop thugs, at that.

Robert Mueller and the Rule of the Unrepresentative, Vacuous, and Narcissistic

It looks like Mueller is seriously embarrassing himself at the Congressional hearing.

The Democrats staged a last-minute play in which Robert Mueller has an assistant at the hearings today. President Trump called it accurately.
See also a "Sundance" article on it at The Conservative Treehouse.:
An excerpt:

An P again:
So Mueller shows he indeed has very little understanding of what took place. Pretty shocking? Nope, only that the Democrats were stupid enough to ask for this.

Amici, the following is a depressing meditation on U.S. politicians.

The Democratic party is in decomposition. It fully embraced, over a decade or less after 1974, abortion. It took a while but eventually no Democrat could run as a Pro-Lifer. Supporting evil in any form leads to moral blindness – if it isn't already a product of evil. Thereafter, the party's been room temperature since 1994 – the election of 1992 was won by a "New Democrat" outsider, remember, one from the "New South" who was going to turn around an already then unpopular Democrat party. Unfortunately, he turned out to be a rapist ogre who on his best day was a narcissistic imbecile. He let his Lesbian wife govern and she governed from the Left (such as it was in those days) and the result so turned off the nation that the Republicans promptly took Congress in the 1994 "off-year" election. (Then the Republican "GOPe" Bourbons ran a hopeless candidate, Bob Dole, in 1996, and OF COURSE lost.)

The destruction of the Democrats is in part the result of a long Left/Communist take-over attempt of the Democrat Party, dating back to FDR's day: that feline man deep-sixed Al Smith from the 1932 election and from the party inner-circles. Smith, the party's 1928 presidential candidate and a strong Catholic, was the last relatively honest and certainly full-"American" (man-of-the-people) to run for president on a Democrat ticket. Smith's origins were absolutely blue-collar ethnic New Yorker. Aside from the "accidental president, Harry Truman, (and the feckless Jimmuh Carter), Smith was the last such – all the other Dem presidents were "connected" and usually Ivy League; Bill Clinton, the rapist, was a Rhodes Scholar. They're elites, Bourbons, Mandarins.

Today, after 25 years of mucking through the administrations of Ivy-Leaguers Bush 2.0 and Clinton-Toned-Brown, both Globalists without too much to choose between them, the current, similarly educated Democrat candidates are utter morons – or, if one or two isn't absolutely stupid, he/she(it?) is the worse kind of political hack. They're all the political version of sexbots: they all say and do and "think" the same thing – because they follow their programming – which is solely predicated on getting power, no "vision thing" (Bush 1.0) required; as with sexbots, our only choice among them is in which color or "gender" we want them to be. It's insane. They're non-entities. Non-beings, actually. They're C.S. Lewis' "chestless men".

But then, to be scathingly honest, with the exception of Trump and before him Reagan, and before Reagan the failed Barry Goldwater campaign, and before those three Calvin Coolidge and Theodore Roosevelt (the latter two both also "accidental" presidents themselves – in fact, all five of these men ran against the Republican elites of their day: think of that; the best presidents of the Republican Party in the last 100 years were outsiders!), the Republicans on the presidential level have produced NOTHING but empty-shirt pol(itical)bots, too – though mostly not Ivy-Leaguer: Alf Landon, Wendell Willkie, Thomas E. Dewey ("the little man on the wedding cake:), Dick Nixon, Gerry Ford, Bob Dole, McCain, the Bushes (actual Ivy Leaguers): come on! (Eisenhower, of course, was an apolitical general.)

Bottom line: The political system is failing, drowned in it upper echelons by ciphers and hacks, with a massive number of government mandarins, federal and state (the higher level of the government's bureaucrats and the huge number of government contract workers) calling the shots through their union power and political pull; such "mandarins" (the definition of being governed by bureaucrats) naturally vote to keep things the way they are; i.e., unrepresentative, vacuous, and narcissistic.

With the help of such a system, were a Democrat to win in 2020, he/she/it would have to open the borders (they've run on this, after all) and stop the economic growth Trump has generated (they've run on that, too) – and of course besides flooding the country cretinous illegals from Central America, they'd flood it with infanticide, transsexual loons who are shoving women out of sports and bathrooms, and generally imitate Emperor Julian in trying to drive Christianity back into the politically incorrect catacombs. They've run on all of this.

Were such to win, they'd precipitate a true Civil War.

It's that bad, amici.

Reflections on the UK EU Election...

There's no reason England (sans Scotland if necessary) can't be like Switzerland or Singapore. I say "no reason" in the sense of economics and trade; in the sense of the UK political class "thinking outside the box" of course, they're stuck -- maybe Nigel Farage can effect some real change.

Scotland could have used its oil money to become itself a Singapore, but instead is a Lolland-speaking version of Vermont: an all white, totally socialist, and increasingly childless satrapy of the EU.

What really irks is Ireland, stuck snug up the EU anus. If I could have three wishes, one of them would be to take Connacht out of Ireland. Oh, well.

After World War II, I suppose the English-speaking nations should have formed some sort of Delian League Against the World, but that half-feline half snake FDR was a Commie tool, Churchill was thrown out of office, and General MacArthur made sure Australia was sidelined into irrelevance.

Muise, as the Irish used to say.

UK PM Has resigned and Trump Goes from Strength to Strength

Lots of news from the political world.

Theresa May has resigned as PM, effective June 7, after a state visit by Donald Trump. See further below for links.

President Trump just goes from strength to strength, heading off now to Japan for a very visible state visit with his friend the Japanese PM Shinzo Abe, and the new emperor, too -- and probably some significant economic announcement (many rumors are afoot to that effect), and he's walloping China, as well (no more smiling Panda: they're talking about a "long march" again!). His economic news is very good. (And this is the UK Guardian, mind you.)

The Chinese dragon is enraged but its wings are getting clipped. Trump has outmaneuvered them with Japan -- and now India (where PM Modi has just won big: https) -- on his side, and of course now Australia has rejected the "Watermelons" (socialist red on the inside and environmentally "green" on the outside) after a significant election there on May 18. Add that to Brazil's new president is amazing, consecrating Brazil to the B.V.M. no less!

Trump seems to be part of a world-wide nationalist trend. This is what populism looks like, and of course "the powers that be" hate it.

So, with ALL THAT going on, it is significant to note that finally President Trump has ordered declassification of the various documents necessary to prove the whole "Russian Collusion" was a true Delusion, and in fact, an attempt to unseat a duly elected president. (I've been saying for some time now that the Democrats were treating 2016 election about the way they treated the 1860 election; it is incredible, if you think about it, that a very large portion of Democrats refuse to believe Donald J. Trump is actually a valid president, but that was also the case with the second George Bush.) Trump is doing this through Attorney General William Barr, giving the A.G. full power to handle the entire business.

An excerpt:
Additionally, AG Bill Barr does not need to assemble the intelligence product for approval by the executive (Trump).  Instead the office of the president is granting the AG full unilateral decision-making as to each product being considered for declassification. ...
This is a huge amount of trust from the President to the Attorney General, and a big responsibility for William Barr:...

So far, the Attorney General has demonstrated he's a true law-and-order A.G. and refuses to be pushed around by anyone, whether Bob Mueller (Bob was just a figurehead to the investigation's real boss, Andrew Wissemann, who really ran the Mueller investigation) or Nancy Pelosi or the Democrat Senators -- or anyone. Bill Barr is amazing, and it looks like the Collusion Delusion conspirators will soon be "paying the Barr bill."

Pelosi's answer to all this was to run. As in flight. Hide. Lie low. As in get-outta-Dodge. She's put the House of Representatives on holiday for ten days (Mitch McConnell "Cocaine Mitch" is keeping the Senate in session). The truth is she's lost control over events and lost control over her Democrats. The vicious "young guns" like Sandy Cortez and Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, true antisemites, are running the show, anyway, pushing her around shamelessly. Also, if you've been watching Pelosi speak in public over the past few days, especially since Trump confronted her and Shumer in the White House on Wednesday, she's having trouble being coherent, showing difficulty in pushing nouns and verbs together and counting on one hand (holding up two fingers and saying "three things" and so on). She's pushing 80 and though that's not necessarily "old", everyone ages differently. And the stress of having the Young Turks (of all stripes) demanding Trump's impeachment, seems to have cowed her. She's between Scylla and Charybdis in that she's got antisemitic Leftist communist wackos on one hand and on the other, "mainstream" Democrats demanding they actually DO some thing constructive with their majority, or they'll be thrown out of power next year. These regular "rank and file" Dem politicians are desperate.

No wonder 'San Fran Nan" is reduced to speaking in gibberish. Meanwhile, Jerry Nadler, who is 71, is not doing too well, either, collapsing on state yesterday.

The "Dem Show" is about over. The end credits are starting to run. And these leaders know it. Some big trade announcements from Japan will make them all look even more petty and clueless.

Also, of course, I'm sure a lot of Democrats wanted Trump impeached now, right now, no waiting, because that might hinder him releasing and declassifying all these various documents that will blow the whole cover on the Russian Collusion narrative -- they could say (and some are saying today) that Trump is "obstructing justice" by releasing all this.

They're too late; kitty is out of the bag and he's a tiger. They've been doomed since Barr forced Mueller to close up shop and submit his badly written 400+ report (readers of it say it would have got an F in law school, as it is disjointed, repetitive, etc.) and by the time the House is back in session -- well, we'll see, for ten days is simply an eternity in politics. But the Democrat Party is looking like a full trainwreck. Since the 2018 election they've accomplished nothing but an ineffective and spiteful harassment of Trump. It's like the Donald lives rent-free in what passes for their minds. It's incredible. (And of course wickedly fun to watch.)

We're watching history in the making, of course. The Democrat Party will be destroyed, and destroyed by the Leftists who have completed their "Long March" to seize it in absolute control terms. One may say this is 1972 come again, when the Democrats went (what at that time passed for) hard left and lost massively to Nixon. Or it is probably more likely this is the final flowering of the seeds planted in 1972 (well, 1968, to be more exact -- and it goes back into the 1930s if you read Bella Dodd, etc.; a very "long march" indeed!).

The "moderate" Dems, if any are left, and whatever Jewish Democrats remain (as a pure matter of simple survival) will have to form up with the "GOPe" "RINO" Globalist Republicans in a true "Uniparty", and Trump can form his own version of a Populist Republican "Brexit Party" -- perhaps a fantasy in terms of being de jure reality, but a reality in being de facto. We're seeing it "in real time".

By the way, the Brexit Party seems to have cleaned house in England. And now I'm reading that Theresa May has resigned.

No doubt the nationalist parties will win in much of Europe now, particularly so in central European countries such as Hungary (the election here is tomorrow) and in Poland, etc. The pro-EU ads I've seen here are ridiculously maudlin and so on, very "turn offy".

The Leftist/Globalst/One-Worlders can't seem to get a break.

As though in a mirror image, this very same thing is unfolding now with the Modernist-Progressives and their Communist Pope in the Catholic Church -- they have seized that organization at an institutional level, yet they'll find they've seized nothing because the Catholic Catholics will not be ruled by such.

Both types of Leftists, secular and religious, think they've "entered in" at long last to power, as it were, but instead they'e "locked themselves out". It's like an insider cabal taking over a club only to find all the due-paying members have quit.

And this is why (and a big "why" it is indeed) Leftists always must use force to keep the unwilling masses in their demented Utopias -- without force, people "vote with their feet" (as Comrade Lenin once said) and walk away. That tactic can't work in a Church and it certainly can't work in a political party, not unless that party's leaders somehow seize absolute police power and force them to stay in.
So, obviously, U.S. citizens who are the famous "deplorables", need to keep their guns. And their ammo. Force is what it will come down to in the end, because the simple truth is that without force, the Leftists will be left looking idiotic, deranged, and very much emasculated -- which they already do a great job of all of those, but especially the last one.
