A serious misunderstanding of how science works...leads to disaster

There's a huge fight over a science mag's publication of shocking article on "Vaccine"-caused deaths. The science mag is peer-reviewed, etc., titled Vaccine. The details are linked to below. But first I think it necessary to remind everyone just how science – Western Empirical Science – is supposed to work.

1. Western Empirical Science is not some esoteric religion, some Star Chamber occult thing, nor is it some deep dungeon magic. It's not supposed to be voodoo and it doesn't involve a "high priesthood" of "the pure" or "the enlightened." 
2. "The Scientific Method" is not something only lab-coated clerics engage in.
   
3. Everyone – anyone – trying to learn something new proceeds with "the scientific method" whether they know it or not. Say you want to learn to play golf. You do what?
   
4. You observe golfers and their equipment. After some observation, you develop a theory on how it is played. Then you inspect the equipment and try to use it (i.e., you experiment with it) according to your theory. If your theory doesn't work, you discard it and create a new theory. And remember, the harder you are on yourself, both theory and practice, the better you'll learn to play the game.
   
5. Criticizing yourself is essential in anything. Say you want to be a writer – THAT involves a LOT of self criticism. Finally, you open yourself up to the inspection and criticism of others, professionals or excellent amateurs. You cannot afford to be too proud to accept the most exacting criticism. No scientist can afford a fragile ego.
   

All of this is "The Scientific Method".

1. A scientist observes some natural phenomenon. 
2. Then he develops a theory (called a hypothesis) on why it occurs, then he tests his hypothesis.
   
3. A true scientist, and an honest one, will not just take a hammer to his delicate hypothesis, he'll take a sledgehammer!
   
4. If after the most rigorous testing and criticism, his hypothesis holds up, THEN he publishes his findings so other scientists can take sledgehammers to his work.

THAT's the Scientific Method. It's just a formal codification of what people do naturally.

(N.B. The only exception is when one is developing a commercial product intended to turn a profit and the developers want to keep the formula secret from competitors; but even in this case, the final product still has to be inspected by various government agencies. Medicine and vaccines would fall into this category, although after its own extensive testing, the government abrogates to itself even more rigorous testing of this "public health" product. Or it should. That's what the )

 

Now, NONE of this sort of practice defined the "science" behind either Global Warming (a.k.a. Anthropogenic Global Warming, Climate change, etc.), nor has it been applied to the Covid vaccines (or even to Covid itself).

With Global Warming, the best example is the thoroughly discredited Michael Mann of Penn State University; a "Distinguished Professor of Atmospheric Science," according to that institution. Mann is the inventor of the infamous "hockey stick" graph about run-away Global Warming. Mann has refused to allow other scientists to review his research (unless they're in his cabal, of course), and has sued the pants off of a number of people who called him out on it. He's lost some of those lawsuits and maintains at least one ongoing for years now, running for close on two decades. Michael Mann is the "poster boy" for how a true scientist is NOT supposed to be!

And notice how "Warmists", advocates of Global Warming, discredit anyone (scientist or not) who disagrees with them. They call them "Climate Deniers" as though they were "Holocaust Deniers." That is not science, either. Science is supposed to be all about the evidence, and the evidence has to be tested again and again, by many people other than the ones who developed the theory. Global Warming is especially egregious in that it was put together by computer models – as Covid has, as well, as I've reported on – and 20 years or more after the models were published, none of what they predicted as come true. The Global Warming theory is utterly disproved, yet it still continues as public policy in many countries. It's absolute garbage, but governments have "bought in" to it, regardless.

Now, regarding Covid, I've been researching it ever since it appeared (I've about 40 years experience as a researcher in various fields) and never in history has there ever been a fraud like it. It is definitely worse that Global Warming. But right now, regarding Covid, the fox is in the hen house about Covid "Vaccine"-related deaths and serious illness.

The U.S.'s CDC's "VAERS" system (Vaccine Adverse Event Reaction System) is reporting, as of now, nearly seven thousand "Vaccine"-caused or related deaths, plus a staggering number of injuries short of death: see here for details. Just incredible. And for some years before the Covid Show went prime time, it was understood that only about 10 percent of vaccine-related illness/death were reported to VAERS, so there's potentially tens of thousands of Covid "vaccine"-related deaths.

Now the scientific magazine Vaccine has blown up over its publication of an scientifically researched article talking about this issue via a report drawing on Dutch and Israeli evidence. Almost immediately after publishing the article, the "powers-that-rule" the science world forced the magazine to retract the article, and various editors, etc., have resigned. You can read about the kerfuffle here at Just The News. (N.B. Just The News is a Conservative American news site, but it is "mainstream" and not remotely in "tinfoil hat" territory.) This is a classic example of "shooting the messenger" because you don't like the news he brought.

Whatever the details of the nitty-gritty of this specific story, "the wheels are coming off" the whole Covid Spiel, the Covid "narrative". The MSM ("MainStream Press"), with the one-time exception of Tucker Carlson, has nor reported on the vaccine mortality rate for Covid, A, and B, the "vaccines" for Covid have become the "tail wagging the dog" in the sense that the "vaccines" have become far, far more of a news item than the original Covid!

Here's an excerpt from Solway, highlighting a recent and important UK government vaccine report:

It merits attending to a recent report released by the British government. The vaccine report card issued by the British Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), covering the period between December 9, 2020 and May 12, 2021, is truly alarming. The enormous size of the spreadsheets makes it an accountant’s nightmare to navigate, a dilemma which is equally true of the Office for National Statistics (ONS). The best source, however, remains the British government’s own agency, the MHRA. Given the extensive and piecemeal dispersion of taxonomic specifics throughout the numberless digital layers, a precise audit is difficult to arrive at, but a plausible approximation may be calculated, if enough time and effort is invested.  

We find that over the scale from minor to significant, the number of adverse reactions to the Pfizer vaccine has increased to a total of over 165,000. The number of adverse reactions to the AstraZeneca vaccine has increased to over 650,000. Moderna appears to fare better but, all told, the ratio of adverse reactions has grown to approximately 1 in every 152 people. These are not odds that I consider confidence-inspiring.  

Among the more critical results, the report notes that many people have gone blind, as well as suffered impaired vision and other eye disorders, for a composite number approaching 3,000 for Pfizer and nearly 10,000 for AstraZeneca. Nervous system disorders — brain damage, facial paralysis, strokes, capillary leak syndrome — exceed 171,000. Cardiac issues are approaching a figure of 9,000, blood disorders are in the vicinity of 11,000, and gastrointestinal disorders stand at over 82,000. The total number of deaths as of May 12 is 1,180 in the U.K. alone.

These are actual government-authorized figures, not conspiracy fictions — and the numbers are rising. The report for May 27, covering the period up to May 19, gives 1,213 deaths. Nor is one encouraged by the news that Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines are now being investigated by the CDC after some teenagers and young adults experienced myocarditis, or heart inflammation, after getting the jab. 

An P again:

The current rumor is that the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) is about to formally approve the "vaccines", formally making them no longer experimental. That would allow everyone to be forced, against their will, to take the potions. Your employer, or state or national government, could try to compel you to be vaccinated. You could perhaps be imprisoned for not surrendering your body to genetic experimentation.

All that means is that "the powers-that-rule" have decided NO human will be allowed to exist who is not a genetically altered human. It's something out of science-fiction: Transhumanism.  (WARNING FOR HUMANITY / Covid-19 vaccine & transhumanism / by Dr Carrie Madej; lots of info on Moderna and its history and its vaccine: 63 days from lab experiments to human testing, which is a record; and Madej notes that this is the first drug/medicine/vaccine of any kind that Moderna has created.)

Maybe Dr. Carrie Madej isn't the kook mainstreamers make her out to be?

The Importance of the Blessed Virgin Mary, an article by David Solway, and a book by Carrie Gress titled "The Anti=Mary Exposed...."

An excellent article by David Solway at PJ Media reviewing the danger Feminism present to our civilization, focusing on a book by Carrie Gress, The Anti-Mary Exposed: Rescuing the Culture from Toxic Femininity, about demonic influence on women today, has prompted a lot of comments, with one Commentator wondering why so many Christians have such a negative attitude toward the Blessed Virgin Mary. I wrote the following in response.

As with "Mother_of_4_Original's response below, Protestants (the vast majority) "just don't get Mary."


The basic problem is they don't get the Covenants. Mary is integral to the establishment of the New Covenant while at the same time the fulfillment of all the old ones. When we partake of the Holy Eucharist, we take into ourselves the Real Presence of God, and that is necessary for Salvation (as in St. John, Chapter 6) – yet Protestants reject that dogma. At the Reformation, all the founding documents of the Reformed Churches rejected it. They may have kept some form of a "Lord's Supper" but denied Transubstantiation. But the central teaching of the Historical Church, East and West, is that the New Testament, the New Covenant, is the Holy Eucharist, and it is truly the Body and Blood of God. (1 Corinthians, 11:17 and following)


So therefore when we partake of the Holy Eucharist, we take on God's nature to a small extent, but it begins our transformation in Christ; the Greeks call it Theosis. It incorporates us into the great Covenants God made with the Patriarchs. We also take in some of His human nature, as well, which he received from His Mother –thus we become full biological heirs of the Covenants. (And thus one can see why the Jews and the Christians fell out early on -- the Jews obviously rejected the idea that just anybody could become a full heir of Abraham by baptism and then Holy Communion! But that's what the Christians asserted, hence the falling out. Protestants, on the other hand, miss out of all of this because of their strict rejection of the core idea of the entire Faith – Old and New Covenants.)


Anyway, Mary is thus the most important person to have ever lived: She's our Mother in Salvation, and literally our Mother, for we have the Salvation inheritance from Her through Her Son. She's the most important fully human person in herself; Jesus is both God and Man, with two Natures, fully both; but as one is a mother of a person and not merely a nature, so Mary is the Mother of God.


"Mother of God." Non-Catholic, non-Orthodox Christians don't get that, or they don't get the significance of what it means, that the Creator of All That Exists has a human Mother, God Himself nursed at her breast, took His very humanity from her. Learned to walk and talk from her. She was at His birth and at His death, the whole way. All they can say is "She's a human being and no different from any other human being."


That's a profound statement, incredible, really.


It's jaw-dropping. It's like missing half of the whole story! But there it is, the sad fruit of the Reformation. Ironically, Luther himself was quite devoted to Her. Protestant anti-Marianism didn't develop till a bit latter.
