Ireland in Uproar; the Reality of Population Replacement: Irish Edition

A Chairde, Friends, Amici,

Ireland is a microcosm of Europe.

And as with France a few months ago, Ireland, specifically Dublin, is in chaos.

A broad daylight knife attack on a woman and three children (and a man) has started riots in North Dublin.

  1. And it is brought on by the insane government policy of stuffing the country full of "immigrants" from far-flung countries having completely different cultures and religious beliefs.
  2. All Western Europe is roiling with this utter insanity, this Replace the Indigenous Population Program that is swamping the USA, as well.
  3. But the Globalists are insisting on replacing native populations in a Great Migration 2.0 (the last one occurring after the fall of the Roman Empire). And no matter what the original citizens think, they are being steamrolled. That's true wherever this phenomenon occurs.
It is truly insane. Unskilled, backward, Muslim invaders into Europe – for the most part, though this does involve others, such as Chinese and sub-Saharan Africans, etc. – and into the USA, an endless torrent of mostly Meso- and South Americans, but lately with a very large dose of Chinese and Islamists. Why?

  1. Extreme numbers of immigrants not only overwhelm culture, they overwhelm the economic system.
  2. They drive wages down but social costs of every kind up. It's nuts.
  3. This program only makes sense as a Civilization Snuffing invasion scheme, of course: Crash the nation-state, crash national identity constitutes the over-all program while traditional Western family structures are also trashed out via carnal perversions – mainly by Marxism in Entertainment and psychology, and in large part by bewildered and befuddled Social Gospel Protestant Churches and a hideously faux-Catholic Church that Bergoglio is flooding us with like an overflowing septic tank. See this story for an example of how Bergoglio and his creatures work. This story is the ecclesiastical mirror image of what the secular governments are doing to their people. The mirror image.

The Irish Story
If you've been following the news, you know that Irish people are rioting in Dublin about this stabbing attack on children (and two adults) by a Muslim immigrant, said to be Algerian. Algeria is a backward, brutal Islamic hell. This individual is a naturalized Irish citizen, apparently, and has been in the country some 20 years. Yet even so the officials are reticent to release information about him. They desperately want to control the narrative yet people are fed up with the manipulation.

Three children were knifed, and a woman who worked at their school. Ironically, it was an Irish-language school, ‘Gaelscoil Choláiste Mhuire’. That's Mary Mother of God's Irish school. The image of a Muslim maniac knifing Irish-language primary schoolers at a school named for the Mother of God – whom you may remember Muslims teach Muhammad daily rapes in Allah's paradise – is a sign that signifies. If you know Dublin, this is in the near north Dublin, just off Parnell Square, close to the northern end of the city’s main thoroughfare, O’Connell Street. The attack occurred a little after 2 p.m., and the knife, which passersby wrestled away from the lunatic, was thrown into the greenery of the Garden of Remembrance (An Gairdín Cuimhneacháin) that commemorates the various Irish "Risings" against the English. How ironic. How symbolic. The Garden features a wonderful bronze, The Children of Lir. See photos here of it.

Again, the significance! What with three children harmed in the attack, one critically wounded, a girl, this couldn't get more poignant. If you don't know the legend of the Clann Lir, look it up. Three kids. The oldest a girl. Lost nearly forever.

Rair has more info. Apparently one of the passersby was a Brazilian. This follows the death over a year ago of an Irish woman, a teacher, one Aishling Murphy, killed by a Slovakian immigrant. It took them a year to convict this murderer and he'll reside in incarcerated splendor at the largess of the Irish taxpayer for the rest of his damnable life.

When I was there 16 years ago or so now (tempus fugit), some Lithuanian immigrant got drugged up and used a knife to try to slit a young woman's throat because he wanted to rob her for money pay for his drug habit. The judge tried to get her to forgive her attacker so he wouldn't spend so much time in jail. I'm not making this up. You can imagine what I would have liked to do to the judge, 1500 years of Christianity or no; or to the assailant. That's a father of kids writing.

Another link to the current story exists here. And two older headlines to give you an idea of what Ireland is like now:
  • African Gangs Attack Irish People After Knife-Wielding Criminal Shot Dead By Police
  • An Irish teen protects a friend from an invader's knife attack.
An Irish sports hero, Conor McGregor, has been commenting on this current atrocity, and he is exactly right. For example:
Conor McGregor: Isn’t that something. The absolute picture of weak and feeble. The most divisive of all is the weak man. One of the most horrific crimes this nation ever seen has occurred, we do not care anymore what you sad cases have got to say. In a war you are nothing. We are not backing down, we are only warming up. There will be no backing down until real change is implemented for the safety of our nation. We are not losing any more of our woman and children to sick and twisted people who should not even be in Ireland in the first place. Call it what you want. We do not care. May God help us all. Ireland for victory.

Commentary

Look, everyone. This evil is intolerable. It's happening everywhere. The occurrences are increasing rapidly. The Mainstream Media howls that anyone who opposed this population replacement and indigenous demoralization and civilizational alienation scheme is a "Right-wing Extremist." This is standard, but the level of lies is rising now to a Krakatoa-level reaction.
  • They're saying about Geert Wilders new electoral victory in the Netherlands that this mainstay of the Dutch political scene is a right-wing fanatic...
  • And they keep repeating the same about Javier Milei's victory in Argentina.
  • And not just Milei. Javier Milei's vice-president happens to be a SSPX Latin Mass devotee, and the press is saying, according to Fr. Z, "Victoria Villarruel, 48, who was elected with the recent victory of her running-mate Milei, has been described as a member of “a marginal and ultra-conservative Catholic faction” and someone who engages in “secret rituals” (the ancient Latin liturgy) by the Argentine press. She particularly drew criticism for her reported attendance of a Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) chapel in downtown Buenos Aires...". Fr Z links to the original story in the Catholic Herald.
  • If you read the American Mainstream Media, you get all sorts of crazy lies about Donald Trump mass arresting or shooting people en masse when he is re-elected.
N.B. I worked for a while as a substitute teacher in Columbus, Ohio's public schools, back when Bill Clinton was dumping Somalian "refugees" in Milwaukee and some in Columbus. The African-American teachers were in utter despair. Most of them were women and they could not control these "kids", the boys, who thought women were slaves and cretins. These "students" would just wander from room to room during class. Rape was common. I remember one lady saying to me in despair, "They don't even know what a toilet is for!" Right, the USA or European nations need "immigrants" like these?

The Crescendo
The tide seems to be turning, what with important elections in The Netherlands and in Argentina. Unless they murder him or try to steal the election again, Trump will triumph over any Democrat who runs. The Left is truly "freaking out". They are using Saul Alinksy's program to the point where everyone who is not a zombie is laughing at them. Remember the four years of lies about Trump we had to endure? And three (was it three?) impeachments, and now four indictments or so. They want that man destroyed. This is how unhinged the Left is.

Or is it the Left? Who is running the show? The World Economic Forum? Klaus Schwab and Yuval Harari are pathetic. They're jokes. Look at them. Listen to them. James Bond movie villains. So who? Xi, the dictator-for-life of China? Is it the big bankers, or BlackRock and Vanguard, who own the world? Is it the Intelligence Services, like the CIA, FBI, Mossad, or whatever the Chinese call their version of these?

Whatever else these Hidden Big Shots are, they are Globalists, and they control Western governments. Neither the USA nor Canada nor the countries of the EU rule themselves, except scattered bits here and there, and for a handful of outlier nations, such as Hungary under Viktor Orbán. He's kept Hungary from being inundated with crazed foreigners, as Ireland is.

I lived in Ireland off and on for years. Met a few politicians. The national-level ones were store mannequins, like the media and police and bureaucrat idiots that Conor McGregor excoriates today. They gave every indication of being actors, front men, playing roles written for them.

Irish History
The whole point of having an independent Ireland, so thought all those idealists and revolutionaries and statesmen of the past, was that an Irish government would govern FOR the Irish people, and not exploit them. Certainly not REPLACE THEM. The English tried to do exactly that a number of times, such as the infamous Plantation of Ulster, and finally allowed the 1840s potato blight to create a famine while withholding food from the starving Irish. That, finally, worked. Sort of.

They wrecked the country, killing one million out of eight, and forcing another million to immigrate. The psychological trauma was profound. Mass EMIGRATION became the norm. The population fell to five million for the next 100 years. The Irish gave up (not entirely, but to a large extent) their language and their identity. Even laid as low as that, however, the people still forced the creation of the "Free State" in the 1920s, and post-World War II, the "republic" (never called that; merely "the state").

But the English had spent hundreds of years centralizing Ireland and creating a centralized and very British bureaucracy. That stayed behind after the English left; only a handful of bureaucrats exited, and Ireland became a purely bureaucratic state run in such a way to keep the people from developing the country themselves, and forcing continued emigration. Then they joined the EU, started up the "Celtic Tiger" economy, developed a lot of jobs and imported more, but even then, the system was sick. I remember seeing a government pamphlet addressed to the Irish who had emigrated in the previous few decades asking them NOT TO COME BACK! Telling them that although the economy was better, they would not be welcome because Ireland had changed since they left, and they would not fit into the "new Ireland."

It is going to take a true revolution to drive such evil manipulators from the Irish government, and a true revolution to exorcise the demons Ireland has let in. But the people won't get help from the Irish Church. That's a wound that keeps on cursing.

Is Russia's invasion a poked Bear's reaction to Globalism?

Friends,

Sad day (and days coming) for folks residing in Ukraine. A lot of people, civilian and military, will die. How many depends on how this develops. If the Ukraine government collapses quickly enough, maybe not too many. Or perhaps Putin will go so far west, and no further. We've no clue. It is doubtful the Europeans will fight at all. The chief German general, Alfons Mais, says the German army's ability to help is "extremely limited". “The Bundeswehr, the army that I am privileged to lead, is more or less bare. The options that we can offer the politicians to support the alliance are extremely limited,” Mais wrote in a Linkedin post on Thursday morning. Mais has bitterly complained of Angela Merkel's military financial policies, and we need to remember Merkel was one of the first graduates of Klaus Schwab's "Leadership School", along with Bill Gates. Hmmm...

 So, we'll see.

We know that Putin has sent his army in, he has sent his missiles in, and he has sent his navy in and already there are (Russian) reports of Ukrainian troops defecting in mass, and non-Russian reports of the speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament fleeing with his family and video of thousands fleeing toward Poland. I'm sure the Ukrainian border area with Hungary, a border populated largely by ethnic Hungarians, will be soon flooded with refugees. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has introduced martial law and told his people to remain calm (yeah, right).

As we wait for whoever runs the Biden Administration to act, or not, as the case may be (Biden is picking his teeth over it, as you can see here.

Commentators and pundits will be flooding those interested with all sorts of information over the next long bit, but I'll just ask two questions:
  1. Will this finally kill Covid?
  2. Is this invasion – at least in part – a reaction to the Western World's conquest by Globalism? I.e. Has Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, et al, finally kindled a reaction?
I don't know, but I suspect the answers to both 1 and 2 are 'Yes'.

First, of course, I must say Putin is a classic bully, and bullies beat up on the weak. Biden et al are utterly weak: Biden (those who run him) have gutted the U.S. military with Wokeism and Covid jabs. This is because the Left in general (exhibit A: Wokeism) is effeminate; it is NOT manly, and the Russians would run roughshod over our Transsexual/Gay/etc. military like the Romans overran the Greeks. Our entire military is in serious disarray, as the Afghanistan debacle showed, so the world's bullies act. We can be sure China will now invade Taiwan. And this video shows then-President Trump in 2018 berating the Europeans for not arming themselves and for coddling Putin. Trump was indeed quite right; he was right a lot of the time, in fact.

But regarding my two queries, there's truth in both of them, as well.

Nothing like a war, a real war, to shake the somnolent awake, for one thing, and for another, the Western World is basically run by BlackRock (the world's largest asset/money manager) and another whose name I forget. They, and a few other such, mostly banks of various kinds who prop up the world's monetary system (itself all fluff and mirrors and hopeless debt), stand behind a doofus like Klaus Schwab or Bill Gates and their eugenics programs (Covid is just a eugenics program) and they direct the major world corporations, as well, more or less. Schwab in turn runs a horde of local national politicians. Take the case of Canada and Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland. These two, no doubt at the bankers' requests, have rescinded their Emergency Act, something that kneecaps all those helpless Liberal and NDP politicians who had just voted for it! Trudeau has made himself utterly putrid, now not only to the Canadian Right, but the Left, as well. He'll be gone in days. But he was following Schwab's orders.

In such a world, the people of actual countries, like Russia, Poland, France, the UK or US, etc., are just puppets for the most part in terms of their governments' independence. Their politicians are "bought and sold" by foreigners and ultimately do the bidding of this "Big Bosses", the behind-the-scenes guys (Soros is a small fry compared to them). China seems to be in the mix with the big shots (Schwab's son is married to a Chinese and lives in Beijing, for example) in an oddly vectored way, and Russia has recently tried to make alliance with China, but China is nobody's friend. China is not even China's friend!

So, yes, Russia's invasion of the absolute Globalist puppet state of Ukraine is in part a response to this situation, just as the U.S., under whoever actually runs the Biden Regime (Globalists, to be sure), does what it does under the Globalists' orders. That's why the U.S. would not assuage Russia's fears of the Ukraine entering NATO, or in some other way being used against Russia. The Globalists want that. Badly. Biden clearly did the Globalists' bidding, all right.

Thus, we'll see how this plays out. Wars have a tendency to get out of control. The American Civil War did. World War I did, infamously. World War II was an Outsiders attack on the Global system of the day, but the Globalists used the Allied victory to prevent that sort of thing from happening again. In general, wars are usually fought for limited aims but mostly never stay strictly in those limits.

So, we'll just have to see. But at least, I think, the whole Covid farce is done. An actual war on the European continent is just too big a thing to ignore, whether it keeps within the corral or breaks out.

Can the Canadian Trucker Convoy of Freedom Save the World?

Friends,

Maybe Canada can save the world. Every revolution needs two things to succeed: timing and leadership. The timing of what is occurring in Canada is perfect for a revolution, and the formal, seated leadership to oppose it is headed by an utter moron named Justin Trudeau.

But a question naturally arises: Why Canada? How could Canada find itself in this incredibly inspiring and heroic situation. "Terrain" is probably the answer.

Canada is cold; it took a lot of fortitude and courage and perseverance to colonize it.

Ever think about that? It takes a hardy, self-sufficient yet strong community-oriented people to settle such a terrain.

People had to work together in the wilderness just as the American colonists did to the south of them, yet because of the cold, because of the long winter dark, because of the Great White North endlessly receding toward the Pole from the populated areas of southern-tier Canada, they had to have a special character even more attuned to neighbors than the U.S. Americans did. With many early U.S. American colonists, the day they saw some other family's hearth smoke on the horizon, they packed up to move on. They often had good reason to move. Abraham Lincoln's father, for example, Thomas Lincoln (1778-1851) was constantly on the move, and every time he made something of himself and garnered a lot of land in Kentucky, or achieved a position in local government, etc., some unscrupulous mountebanks (the Joe Biden's of the day, the Bill and Hillary's, the Nancy Pelosi's and Mitch McConnell's) would swindle him out of it. Eventually he crossed the Ohio River, abandoning Kentucky altogether.

But in Canada, seeing some new person's hearth fire on the horizon meant your chances of surviving the harsh environment just increased. The terrain dominated. You had to adapt to survive. A difficult terrain has a tendency to do that. (Consider: the Nazi Army in Russia lost for a number of reasons, but not the least of them was that German soldiery and supply chains could not deal with the cold as well as the Russians could.) Canada has always been a bit odd to U.S. Americans – the name 'Canada' originally was a local Indian phrase meaning "I don't know," (French explorers who had asked the Indians what was on up the St. Lawrence River were told, 'Canada') – and it has always been a look-alike-but-not-quite twin in the consciousness of most Americans (and, of course, along with Gringo America, another planet to most Latin Americans). But Canada the land bred in its people – not the recent immigrants, especially the Muslim ones, mind you – a certain character that expected cooperation from each other and their government. Also, consider, England's inept and arrogant handling of their oldest North American colonies (they had 17 such colonies in 1776) caused 13 of oldest of them to rebel. So after that revolution was settled, they tried a less stringent approach toward the rump of British North America, and thus the Canadians never had to rebel. From that time to just recently, Canadians never had the extremely bad and corrupt governments common to enough in the English-speaking states to their south, let alone the endemic disasters congenital to the independent Latin American states.

But all that changed with the Trudeaus and the rise of Globalism, and the current Trudeau (whatever his actual parentage) has been an arrogant, foppish, authoritarian globalist who currently leads a very minority government in the Canadian Parliament. (He couldn't walk down the street during the recent Canadian elections without being chased and mocked by angry Canadians!) Justin Trudeau is an idiot, plain and simple, which perhaps is proven by his graduation from Klaus Schwab's World Economic Forum's Leadership School – all of the graduates of which, from the first, such as Bill Gates and Angela Merkel, down to Trudeau, Macron, and the Horse of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, are mentally midgety 'Mini-Me' clones to their guru, Klaus Schwab. THAT's that would-be ruler of the world? Take a few minutes to listen to Schwab's boasting at this link. (You only need to watch the first few minutes to see Schwab, but if you jump forward to the 3 hour, 50 minute mark, you can watch Dr. Andrew Kaufman testify to the Berlin Corona Committee). Klaus is some sort of Hellish cross between an ogre and a maggot. He's both putrid and a joke. Bizarre in the extreme it remains how this oaf has amassed so much power. (I assume George Soros is far smarter, and more dangerous. But remember, the two do not exactly represent a united front. And there are other powers more shadowy than they.)
  • N.B. That such an oaf as Schwab or a swindler like Soros have gotten as far as they did is only a testimony to the weakness of other world leaders. Adolf Hitler rose to power ONLY because the declining quality of those who opposed him (whether in Germany or outside of Germany). Remember that. It's the key to understanding Hitler's rise. And it is the key to understanding our current plight.
In the end, it all has to do with politics. Politics, in the sense of the manipulation of the majority of Earth's human inhabitants by the ridiculously few, is far, far too much with us these days. The Democrats here in the U.S. – some of them – are beginning to talk down masks and other Covid restrictions because there's a big election coming up in November. This reiterates that everything they do is "political", the word now meaning "Grab as much Power as you can, whenever you can!" (Add 'money' to 'power' and you have the Biden-Pelosi-Clinton family mottoes. Republican "RINOs" like Mitch McConnell merely are the "lite" version of Democrats, by the way.) Which in turn just goes to show the "plandemic" was about politics and corporate greed from the git-go. If you haven't figured that out, you're still hypnotized by the shiny, swinging Covid amulet!

The elites, the globalists, the Davos pinheads, whether one calls them Communists or World Fascists, are all basically thieves. Proof of that we see in the Covid lockdowns how the richer get hyper-insanely richer and the middle class/working classes have been robbed blind, steadily being reduced to serfs. Whatever else the elites want – a "Great Reset" or population reduction or creating a 'Borg' slave race of cyborgs – they want a World Government to enable them to rob the actual wealth producers more easily. Canada as an even more a federal state than the U.S. or Germany, thus constitutes a natural enemy to such machinations.

But the Globalist World Conquest's problem, whether they're local politicians or globalists, is that if you "sow the wind, you'll reap the whirlwind". Do evil, and you'll get evil back. Another angle to this basic idea is, as the German General von Moltke the Elder put it, "No plan survives the first five minutes of contact with the enemy". Start something, and you can't know how it will end. Chaos Theory is yet another take on this, and it is a reality that's inescapable. I think the Canadian Trucker Freedom Convoy is the whirlwind whipping up, like the vortex behind an 18-wheeler sweeping past you. It's the proof of Chaos Theory. Canada's (old Canada's) unique character and history has resulted now, today, in the perfect political protest ballooning at the absolutely most perfect time. They're going to change the world and upset the globalists' program. I guess you could coin a new adage and assert, "It's all about politics, but the politicians who are idiots will inadvertently make it about a whole lot more than just politics!"

That perfectly defines the pathetic Justin Trudeau, and, I think, Klaus Schwab, as well, and many of his Mini-Me cohorts around the world.

We shall see. Pray.

In Part II of this essay, I consider another central issue the Truckers clearly and consistently raise: Where does our Sovereignty lie? Who has the right to rule? We, ourselves, or the elites?

The "Beast of Revelation" enthroned in NYC at the UN building...a must see.

Amici,

What more do you want? What more does anyone want for proof of the times we're in? Here's the article about "the UN just put up a giant statue in New York..."

An excerpt:

One of the strangest statues that I have ever seen in my entire life has just been set up right outside UN Headquarters in New York City.  When I first heard about this, I could hardly believe that the global elite would be so brazen, and so I checked into this very carefully.  Unfortunately, this is not just a bad rumor.  This absolutely gigantic statue is called “The Guardian of International Peace and Security”, and it looks like something out of a science fiction movie.  It does not resemble any known creature on this planet.  Instead, it appears to very closely resemble a “beast” that is described in the Book of Revelation.  If you have not seen it yet, you can see video footage of this “beast” right here.  Did they really think that they could put this up without anyone noticing?

If you do a search on Google News for this statue, you won’t find a single story from the mainstream media.

Hopefully that will change soon, because people need to know about this.

Before I go any further, let me share with you what the United Nations is saying about this new statue…

A guardian for international peace and security sits on the Visitor’s Plaza outside #UN Headquarters. The guardian is a fusion of jaguar and eagle and donated by the Government of Oaxaca, Mexico @MexOnu. It is created by artists Jacobo and Maria Angeles.

(Pretty life-like from this angle and no doubt just who this "angel" is supposed to be.)

Like I say, what more proof could we have?

Robert Mueller and the Rule of the Unrepresentative, Vacuous, and Narcissistic

It looks like Mueller is seriously embarrassing himself at the Congressional hearing.

The Democrats staged a last-minute play in which Robert Mueller has an assistant at the hearings today. President Trump called it accurately.
See also a "Sundance" article on it at The Conservative Treehouse.:
An excerpt:

An P again:
So Mueller shows he indeed has very little understanding of what took place. Pretty shocking? Nope, only that the Democrats were stupid enough to ask for this.

Amici, the following is a depressing meditation on U.S. politicians.

The Democratic party is in decomposition. It fully embraced, over a decade or less after 1974, abortion. It took a while but eventually no Democrat could run as a Pro-Lifer. Supporting evil in any form leads to moral blindness – if it isn't already a product of evil. Thereafter, the party's been room temperature since 1994 – the election of 1992 was won by a "New Democrat" outsider, remember, one from the "New South" who was going to turn around an already then unpopular Democrat party. Unfortunately, he turned out to be a rapist ogre who on his best day was a narcissistic imbecile. He let his Lesbian wife govern and she governed from the Left (such as it was in those days) and the result so turned off the nation that the Republicans promptly took Congress in the 1994 "off-year" election. (Then the Republican "GOPe" Bourbons ran a hopeless candidate, Bob Dole, in 1996, and OF COURSE lost.)

The destruction of the Democrats is in part the result of a long Left/Communist take-over attempt of the Democrat Party, dating back to FDR's day: that feline man deep-sixed Al Smith from the 1932 election and from the party inner-circles. Smith, the party's 1928 presidential candidate and a strong Catholic, was the last relatively honest and certainly full-"American" (man-of-the-people) to run for president on a Democrat ticket. Smith's origins were absolutely blue-collar ethnic New Yorker. Aside from the "accidental president, Harry Truman, (and the feckless Jimmuh Carter), Smith was the last such – all the other Dem presidents were "connected" and usually Ivy League; Bill Clinton, the rapist, was a Rhodes Scholar. They're elites, Bourbons, Mandarins.

Today, after 25 years of mucking through the administrations of Ivy-Leaguers Bush 2.0 and Clinton-Toned-Brown, both Globalists without too much to choose between them, the current, similarly educated Democrat candidates are utter morons – or, if one or two isn't absolutely stupid, he/she(it?) is the worse kind of political hack. They're all the political version of sexbots: they all say and do and "think" the same thing – because they follow their programming – which is solely predicated on getting power, no "vision thing" (Bush 1.0) required; as with sexbots, our only choice among them is in which color or "gender" we want them to be. It's insane. They're non-entities. Non-beings, actually. They're C.S. Lewis' "chestless men".

But then, to be scathingly honest, with the exception of Trump and before him Reagan, and before Reagan the failed Barry Goldwater campaign, and before those three Calvin Coolidge and Theodore Roosevelt (the latter two both also "accidental" presidents themselves – in fact, all five of these men ran against the Republican elites of their day: think of that; the best presidents of the Republican Party in the last 100 years were outsiders!), the Republicans on the presidential level have produced NOTHING but empty-shirt pol(itical)bots, too – though mostly not Ivy-Leaguer: Alf Landon, Wendell Willkie, Thomas E. Dewey ("the little man on the wedding cake:), Dick Nixon, Gerry Ford, Bob Dole, McCain, the Bushes (actual Ivy Leaguers): come on! (Eisenhower, of course, was an apolitical general.)

Bottom line: The political system is failing, drowned in it upper echelons by ciphers and hacks, with a massive number of government mandarins, federal and state (the higher level of the government's bureaucrats and the huge number of government contract workers) calling the shots through their union power and political pull; such "mandarins" (the definition of being governed by bureaucrats) naturally vote to keep things the way they are; i.e., unrepresentative, vacuous, and narcissistic.

With the help of such a system, were a Democrat to win in 2020, he/she/it would have to open the borders (they've run on this, after all) and stop the economic growth Trump has generated (they've run on that, too) – and of course besides flooding the country cretinous illegals from Central America, they'd flood it with infanticide, transsexual loons who are shoving women out of sports and bathrooms, and generally imitate Emperor Julian in trying to drive Christianity back into the politically incorrect catacombs. They've run on all of this.

Were such to win, they'd precipitate a true Civil War.

It's that bad, amici.

The World as 2019 Dawns

Everyone knows my sunny, positive, optimistic personality. So, at this New Year's, let's remember not the sugar-coated Hallmark Cards world, but our actual reality. For example:

One was filmed being decapitated (she was in her underwear as they sawed her head off; they don't do it in the old-time classic fashion with a heavy, long scimitar, sharp as a razor):
An excerpt:
The bodies of Louisa Vesterager Jespersen, 24, from Denmark and Maren Ueland, 28, from Norway were discovered at their camp site on Monday near Imlal, a small village on a hiking route to Mount Toubkal -- the highest peak in North Africa.
The women, who were studying outdoor life, culture, and eco-philosophy at the University of South-Eastern Norway, were on a month-long trip through North Africa.

From Measure for Measure:
"If I must die,
I will encounter darkness as a bride,
And hug it in mine arms."
(Act III, Scene I, Line 82)

Islamic Death brought darkness to these two, in classic Islamic fashion -- hugging them about the neck. (And I'm seeing that photos of the girl being murdered keep getting sent to her mother.)

A cynic -- which I am in many ways -- would say they "won" the "Darwin Award". What young woman in her right mind would "hike" in any Islamic country? Any of them? Insane. (If they hadn't murdered them, they'd been raped and suffered to endure "female circumcision". Or perhaps, such happened. We probably won't find out.)

Meanwhile:
The details are just astounding -- and sickening. George Orwell's 1984 sort of stuff. Talk about propaganda and so on...I expect serious Internet restrictions soon in many Western nations. The Net gets the news out and around the mainstream media watchers.

Tolkien knew about such 'watchers', such 'gate-keepers':

Worsham’s account was banned on Christmas Eve after she posted tweets critical of pedophiles and Twitter’s decision to allow for pro-pedophile accounts to still remain active while deeming Conservative accounts to be “violations of terms of service”.
The author who was banned quoted the old saying "Kill them all and let God sort them out" but of course the Twitter people have no clue to where that came from, etc. (It was actually made up by a Medieval historian; it was never actually said.)

Then there's this: http://thefederalist.com/2018/12/21/the-tucker-carlson-boycott-is-bad-for-everyone/
"The left really seems to want corporations to play speech police. That’s the logical conclusion of the boycott campaign aimed at Tucker Carlson."
Free speech for me, not for thee. The Powers-that-Be just have to control the information flow. They had a plan in place but the Internet opened up many new ways of getting information out. They're still fighting that. Desperately.

The Big News in the U.S. (which has massive international implications) is Trump's pullout of Syria (and draw-down in Afghanistan) and Jim Mattis resignation relating thereto, on the one hand, and the partial government shut down over the border wall (actually a ridiculous fence), as well as a court case in which the Supreme Court lets stand a lower court injunction of Trump's trying to reform "asylum" for hose who cross the borders illegally. Closely related to this is the Republicans in the U.S. Senate have "shown their colors", globalist colors. See: https://amgreatness.com/2018/12/22/obstructionist-republicans-vs-trump/
An excerpt (great article! The author actually quotes Sun Tzu!:):
Thanks to the ongoing shutdown theater, two things are now obvious.
First, Republican leadership in Congress had no intention of even trying to fund Trump’s wall, much less actually doing it, despite repeatedly promising to do so.
And second, Trump is being exactly who he said he was, and doing exactly what he said he’d do, and all of greater Washington is still shocked—shocked!—by it.

…
Establishment Washington has believed for years that it can run on platform issues like repealing Obamacare, defunding Planned Parenthood, and reforming the immigration system, but then provide dozens of excuses as to why these objectives can’t be met.
First, Republicans said, they needed the House. Then the Senate. Then the White House. But of course, once all of those were delivered, it still wasn’t enough. Now they need 60 votes in the Senate or nothing can happen! They believe that voters are, in fact, dumb enough to keep buying what they’re selling.

(That's a great pun, BTW, the "bloom is off the ruse" -- chuckle.) An except:
Think carefully about what Mitch McConnell is doing here. It’s not President Trump’s job to write legislation. McConnell is desperately trying to retain a UniParty ruse, by passing the buck to the White House. McConnell doesn’t want the American people to see republican senators supporting a bill against voter interests.
Wall Street, corporate and special interest lobbyists own the legislative process. Lobbyists actually write the laws. Lobbyists pay congress to sell laws they write. Lobbyists funding both left and right wings of the UniParty do not want border security. This is ultimately what McConnell is trying to hide.
Look at what he’s doing. Senate Leader McConnell is telling the executive branch (President Trump) if they want an appropriations bill, the President must write the legislation with his democrat colleagues. Please – Think About This.

An Préachán again: I read a very interesting comment in one of the blogs somewhere that Trump could send in to the Senate his Vice-President, who is, under the Constitution, supposed to be the leader of the Senate. That's why Mitch McConnell is only "majority leader" of the Senate: Mike Pence is actual president of the Senate; so Trump could send in Pence and have him do the needful. Now, that would be SO cool! Disraeli would rise from his grave to applaud that one! Cicero, too. And it would so humiliate McConnell that he'd resign in disgrace.

So the domestic U.S. system is a mess. Trump and the MAGA Repubicans are opposed by the Uni-Party/Globalists. Nasty.

In the Mideast, Syria is a total mess, as is Libya and Afghanistan. Iraq is a borderline mess, essentially, as well.
  • I want to point out that in the entire of the U.S. history, until the Globalist Bush family got into the White House, the only war any Republican administration got us in was the "glorious little war" of 1898, the Spanish-American War. All the others, starting with the "War of 1812" on down, until the Bushes, were Democrat wars. Including the Civil War, which started when the unruly Democrats started a war rather than accept the 1860 election (and they'll start a war again to get rid of Trump too, if they can't get rid of him some other way; they simply refuse to accept his election -- 1860 has come again).
  • Remember the old saying: “Democrats want a small army, and they want to send it everywhere; Republicans want a BIG army, and they don’t want to send it ANYWHERE.”
Trump on Syria:
Mainstream Media political pundits are in hysterics over Mattis leaving, but he's lasted longer than three men Obama had put in the same office (funny that you don't hear about that, isn't it?) Though people I respect greatly are against Trump in this: https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/james-mattis-departure-and-engagements-in-the-middle-east/ and also: https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2018/12/the-keane-critique.php I still think, provided Trump get us out of Afghanistan, as well, this is the right move. See: http://thefederalist.com/2018/12/21/trumps-syria-withdrawal-policy-is-correct-but-communicated-horribly/
An excerpt:
“Trump Criticized For Breaking With Longstanding American Tradition Of Remaining In Middle Eastern Countries Indefinitely,” joked the Babylon Bee upon the news President Donald Trump is bringing troops home from Syria, but the joke wasn’t far from the truth at all.
The news deeply angered the Washington foreign policy consensus, which argues that troops should stay in the region indefinitely even though the stated mission of defeating ISIS has been accomplished.

This is a Mollie Hemingway essay and quite good reporting. Highly recommended. Lots of facts you might not have heard of. It is amazing how the "neo-conservatives" get us into a war for one reason, and before long, that reason morphs into others. "Mission-creep." Take the time to read through Hemingway's article.

An excerpt:
Today Trump is behaving with the shrewdness and self-awareness of a civilian commander-in-chief who knows, with Clemenceau, that war is too important to be left to the generals. Trump recognizes too, with another French leader, Charles de Gaulle, that the cemeteries are full of indispensable men.
(General James) Mattis, it must not be denied, is a patriot and a man of learning and intellectual discipline. But he’s not infallible. Military and civilian leaders with comparable qualities have disagreed and will disagree with him.
As the Trump Administration implements the president’s promises to get troops out of Syria and Afghanistan, the wisdom of one of the great Cold War scholar-generals should be a major policy guide.
Army Lt. General William E. Odom (1932-2008) was one of the bravest and most brilliant military intelligence officers of his generation. An expert on the Soviet Union with a doctorate in political science from Columbia, he was President Ronald Reagan’s director of the National Security Agency, the electronic spying outfit. A thinking man as well as a fighting man, he was one of the architects of what Margaret Thatcher remembered as Reagan’s winning the Cold War “without firing a shot.”
Odom taught at Yale for two decades following his retirement, and his warnings about U.S. military deployments in the Middle East were wise and prophetic.

…
In August 2005, Odom wrote “What’s Wrong with Cutting and Running?”—an article that made him persona non grata in the George W. Bush administration.
“If I were a journalist,” Odom began, “I would list all the arguments that you hear against pulling U.S. troops out of Iraq, the horrible things that people say would happen, and then ask: Aren’t they happening already? Would a pullout really make things worse? Maybe it would make things better.”

This is an interesting "Paleo-Conservative" piece of Gen'ral Mattis:
The raw drive to insta-hate everything Trump does is misleading otherwise thoughtful people. So let’s try a new lens: during the campaign Trump outspokenly denounced the waste of America’s wars. Pro-Trump sentiment in rural areas was driven by people who agreed with his critique, by people who’d served in these wars, whose sons and daughters had served, or, given the length of all this, both. Since taking office, the president has pulled U.S. troops back from pointless conflicts in Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Congress may yet rise to do the same for American involvement in Yemen. No new wars have been started. Though the results are far from certain, for the first time in nearly 20 years, negotiations are open again with North Korea. Mattis’s ending was clumsy, but it was a long time coming. It is time for some old ideas to move on.

Ron again: And let us remember that old Douglas MacArthur, before he died, told JFK not to get involved in a land war in Asia. Jack might have listened. Lyndon Johnson was far too stupid, unfortunately.

As for Gen'ral Mattis, much praise from many sources for the Marine, especially now from the Democrats and the American Left, who are utter hypocrites. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/12/flashback-media-silence-after-obama-fires-general-mattis-without-even-a-call/ Sunday, in a series of Tweets, Trump pointed out that Obama fired Matthis and that he, Trump, gave the general a second chance. Also, that any other president bringing troops home would be cheered by the media -- but not him. Also very TRUE.

There are those less tactful who point out Mattis had his faults, too, especially that disaster, the F-35 and his "slow-walking" the removal of sex-change people from the military: https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2018/12/mattis_was_no_good.html The "No Dood" title is a disaster but the essay is quite enlightening. One has to remember something I've been seeing in a lot of comments, that for an individual to reach high rank in the U.S. military, one has to kowtow to the Democrats. Again, incredibly, this is also reflected in the U.S. military in the pre-Civil War years. Robert E. Lee, a staff officer in the Mexican War (a very Democrat war, btw) ended up commandant of West Point whereas U.S. Grant, who performed heroically under fire in that war, was forced out of the army. Jefferson Davis, president of the traitorous Confederacy, had graduated from West Point, served in the Mexican War, and been Secretary of the Army at one point, 1853 to 1857, just before the Civil War erupted!

Some things just never change.

His advice wasn't always correct:
Funny that the liberal media did not mention that Mattis warned Trump of security concerns if he moved the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem as he promised.
Mattis was wrong and Trump was right.

That "Mattis is no good" article also clued me in to something I had entirely missed: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2018-12-19/bankruptcy-on-the-table-as-boy-scouts-confront-sex-abuse-claims

Wow. How stupid are modern people? I remember it widely commented on at the time that "mainstreaming" homosexuality in the Scouts would lead to precisely this. It has! Absolutely, totally, completely. unmitigatedly insane. Of course, apparently most of the abuse occurred before making "Gay Okay" in the Scouts. So if they couldn't control this before, how are they going to control it after?

It's as stupid as two European women "hiking" in Morocco, in fact.

This New Year's, I just despair of "Modernism", in all its forms, ecclesiastical, civil, moral, whatever. No doubt Modernism/Political Correctness cost the lives lives of those two young women. They didn't want to be 'judgmental'. It is flooding Europe with angry young Muslim males of military age. It's wrecking the Catholic Church, too, of course.
and
The "problem" of the Vatican II Church will be solved by law enforcement -- arresting its leaders and liquidating its assets.

Here's a profound, and desolating article about the current state of the Church: https://www.theamericanconservative.com/dreher/christmas-cracked-temple-armenian-genocide/
An excerpt:
Every week on this blog, somebody in a comments thread writes about the mass falling away from the Catholic faith that they’re seeing in their family or community. At the very beginning of the scandal, my wife and I were in the Netherlands, one of Europe’s most secular countries, and met a family at mass. They were the only others there besides us who didn’t have grey heads. We introduced ourselves, and found ourselves invited to dinner.
Turns out the father of the family was one of 11 kids in his family — and the only one left still practicing the Catholic faith in which they were raised. Can you imagine that? The Catholic faith had been handed down through that family’s line over many centuries, but in a single generation, it died (except for our host and his wife and kids). Those siblings and their children still live, but they are lost to the faith — and depending on God’s mercy, perhaps lost to eternity.

In general, Modernism's understanding of Man and its reading of "the signs of the times" are incredibly defective. For example:

General Mattis, in his resignation letter, noted: " It is clear that China and Russia, for example, want to shape a world consistent with their authoritarian model gaining veto authority over other nations’ economic, diplomatic, and security decisions to promote their own interests at the expense of their neighbors, America and our allies."

Well, yes, Gen'ral. That's true. Every bit of it. They want a "world consistent with their authoritarian model" and so has just about EVERY GOVERNMENT IN WORLD HISTORY. Dar Crom! Why should Russia and China be different? And we, here in the U.S. and Europe, also submit to the authoritarians among us, whether the Globalists and "Neo-Conservatives" or the university campus thought police. (The notorious "Gaystapo" is a force unto itself.) Looking at the the social, political and cultural trends in "The West" as 2019 dawns, one can easily say the indicators are clear: "liberal" western-style governance is on the ropes and will probably succumb to some sort of Authoritarianism. Authoritarianism certain already reigns on U.S. university campuses, throughout the Arts, and in the Democrats, so....

Gen'ral Mattis, you yourself are part of this Modernist matrix in flux.

It's an old story. The Athenians wanted democracy for themselves but wouldn't tolerate it in subject city states of their short-lived empire. Same with the Spartans. Same with the Romans and hyper-true of Ancient Persia and all the rest. China, for all the high IQ of the Chinese, has never, ever in its fabulous 5,000-year history ever produced anything remotely like Periclean Athens or Republican Rome, let alone the Republic of Venice, Florence in its heyday, or for that matter, Switzerland. If China does take over the world, it won't be fun.
and
Cyberspace is considered the fifth strategic domain of warfare, along with land, sea, air, and space. And the Chinese are on the verge of dominating this domain. The Chinese government is heavily investing in 5G networks and significant state subsidiesare part of the communist regime’s comprehensive industrial blueprint to beat competition and cement global dominance in the 5G race.
Declan Ganley, an Irish telecommunications entrepreneur and founder of Rivada Networks, likens China’s threat to Pearl Harbor. Seventy-seven years ago, the Japanese attacked the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, drawing the United States into World War II.
“We’re at one of those moments in history where you need to know what’s right in front of you,” Ganley said.

Consider:
  • Medieval Italian city states, exiling Dante and endlessly fighting each other, were freer than our "cultural elites" are today. Dante was light-years freer than any modern poet or playwright who wants his works to see the light of day. So was Aristophanes. Only, perhaps, Will Shagspeare (as he spelled it) might sympathize with a modern playwright, as he had to walk a tightrope when writing his plays in murderous Elizabethan England.
  • Mattis concluded that paragraph up above with, "That is why we must use all the tools of American power to provide for the common defense." Whoa, Gen'ral, whoa!! Europe is about as rich as the U.S., or would be if they adopted better economic and civil polices. Brazil could be one of the major players in the world scene if they, too, adopted better economic and civil policies, which under their new president, they might -- and as for China, Japan and India between them have the potential to stand up to China. And Russia. If they truly side with the Chinese, they'll be signing their death warrant -- for it was from the East that total obliteration came to the Rus in the form of the Mongol Hordes. China could take Siberia tomorrow if they wanted to. Russia couldn't stop them except with nukes.
  • And today's China has to be one of the most unstable social and cultural powerkegs in all of wold history. Literally 100s of millions of young men without any hope whatsoever of finding wives? Barking mad.

And as for Syria -- a hellhole largely created by Obama's feckless polices -- Saudi Arabia is already stepping up to the task: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/12/21/checkmate-saudi-crown-prince-mbs-sends-replacement-troops-to-defend-kurds-in-syria/#more-158042
Saudi Arabia!
An excerpt:
Now let’s consider the brilliance of this move.
First, remember Turkish President Recep Erdogan was the antagonist in the Kashoggi matter and Erdogan orchestrated the blame toward Saudi Crown Prince MbS. There is no better motivated mid-east ally to protect the Kurds against any military action by Turkey other than MbS. No doubt MbS and UAE will send their best forces.
Secondly, what military equipment will MbS and the UAE be shipping along with their military troops? Those would be military purchases directly from the U.S.
Third, who stood up against international pressure and refused to condemn MbS over the Kashoggi matter? That would be a strategic U.S. President Trump. MbS owes a favor; see how that works?
Fourth, what leverage does U.S President Trump have toward Turkey in order to further facilitate no hostile action? That would be the economic leverage of current sanctions against Iran; and the option of controlling/punishing any economic engagement therein.
So to summarize: President Trump withdraws U.S. troops from Syria, and leverages his relationship with MbS to step up to replace them, thereby eliminating any concern that Turkey might take hostile action toward our Kurdish allies in Northern Syria.
Our troops come home; and a stable transition is ensured by a regional ally.
How do you like them apples !

Interesting take on it, and I hope it works out. Lovely Machiavellian maneuver-counter maneuver. Talleyrand and Richelieu (and Bismarck and Disraeli and...) would be fascinated. From before the murder of Kashoggi on to the latest development, all this really is a complex play between Qatar and the Saudis, their fellow Salafis. N.B. Only Bahrain is a majority Shia country on the Arab side of the Persian Gulf -- it used to be a center of Nestorian Christianity, and in general, where you find Shia, they were originally Nestorians. 70 percent are Shia in Bahrain but the ruling family and most of the elites are Sunni. However, Shia even exist (20 percent) in Saudi Arabia in different areas, mostly in the eastern oil provinces but in interesting pockets in the Hijaz down to Yemen, and the whole story is quite fascinating for a historian -- but of course I shamelessly digress here.

  • Anyway, no Mideast policy will have much success until Erdogan is overthrown (and thrown out of) Turkey, or Turkey is thrown out of NATO, A, and B, the Twelver Shia (Ithnā'ashariyyah) cult regime in Iran is overthrown, and let's not forget C: an independent Kurdistan. "The Three Necessaries." Simple as that.
The Unhappy Fate of Islam
As for Islam in the longer term, sooner or later, they'll be nuked. I've said that for years. (For years I've said Bergoglio will be declared an anti-pope, too; it'll happen probably after he dies and a pope of a Trad Church in schism with the Progressive Church will so declare it -- the Prog Church will be to busy at their gay orgies to notice). But sooner or later, some power with nukes will do the deed regarding Islam. I expect China. The Middle Kingdom doesn't suffer fools gladly and they've never been Christian and persecute Christians shamelessly today. The "Chi-com" regime is pitiless. Ming the Merciless in a highly tailored three-piece ensemble. But it will happen. Islam is just too dangerous for the world. Authoritarian regimes envy and fear it and will eventually crush it.

  • There's an old saying that "You can't kill an idea" but you can; as the counter-saying puts it: "You can kill an idea if you kill everyone who holds it."

Whatever.

Gen'ral Mattis, Nine out of ten Americans -- average, everyday folks -- don't give a damn about the rest of the world and Trump's disengagement (to the extent he does that) will NOT cost him any votes. Building the wall will not cost him any either. And how in the name of God can we "defend freedom" in Afghanistan when we can't even defend our own borders? https://www.nytimes.com/2018/12/21/us/politics/supreme-court-asylum-trump.html Notice how John Roberts voted with the Leftists. That was widely foreseen in the blogs, that Roberts would become the "swing vote". Something else we can thank a Bush president for. (BTW, I saw a headline that former Democrat Big Cheese Howard Dean says now that the U.S. has to stay in Afghanistan in order to "spread feminism." I'm not making that up!)

So, this is a small take the world. New Year's, 2019.
