Hi everyone.
I
came across this Comment at Fr. Z's blog about Bishop
Fernandes, the new ordinary of the Columbus diocese. I'm posting the opening lines of the Comment here below. Find the article to
which the comment is attached here. It is a good bit longer and is an uplifting bit of news about the new bishop.
James Straight says:The Most Reverend Earl K. Fernandes, ordained and installed as the Bishop of Columbus just 1 year and 8 days ago is currently in the middle of leading 11 Eucharistic Processions in the Diocese in 10 days, from June 2nd through the 11th. (That is just the ones the Bishop is taking part in.)
AnP again: Good
news about Bishop Fernandes. Those of you residing in and near Columbus
can fill us in, if you want,
on your own experiences of this event, and of Fernandes. He seems to
have inherited the Columbus-closing-up-parishes plan from the previous
bishop, a classically Vat II clueless Bergoglian loser. And of course,
Bergoglio's Vatican would "sack" Fernandes if he tried to expand the TLM
beyond where it is. Bergoglio might sack him anyway, if Bergi survives
much longer.
Pray accordingly.
AnP
